No he said it is possible to come out in March IF he would get the renders in time. But Lazy Icstor hasn´t done that so Onyx said that April is more likely. But I think Icstor fucked up yet again. You can´t give the writer the fault IF he didn´t get the Renders in time, that´s the artist fault (Icstor and the "Team" who helps with the renders).



Maybe it´s Icstors Work that´s missing here. They said that they hired People to help with the renders. Maybe the Renders from the other people are done and Icstors Renders are missing because of his laziness. That would be a typical Icstor Issue.



Yes that could be the case. But otherwise Onyxdime said multiple times to NOT subscribe and to wait until the previews and the games got leaked. He openly said to wait for leaks in regard of Icstor. So it´s a 50/50 if he did it for Icstors Favor or not.



Onyx praised Icstor back in 2018 when the Game was still rolling good. The Quote that someone mentioned was from 2018. We don´t know for sure if Onyx has the same opinion nowadays.

Why would he give a release date when he’s still waiting for incstor to finish his work? He knows incstors history, he knows there’s a very good chance incstor won’t follow through, yet onyxdime made it a point to tell people the game will be coming out and that he’ll see it through to completion. Why would you insist on that for a known liar like incstor?

He knows incstor will probably fail to deliver like he always does, so why put your own reputation at risk for him? Why try to convince and reassure people the game is coming out soon when he knows incstor will most likely fail to deliver? There are 2 reasons why someone would do that. Either that person is an idiot who doesn’t realize the truth about incstor, which we know is not the case for onyxdime, or that person is working for incstor to try and convince people the game is alive because he knows that’ll get people to subscribe to the patreon. Pretty clear it’s the latter.

If onyxdime was genuine he’d let people know what’s going on, where the renders are, why they were late, when they’ll be here, etc. But notice how he’s stopped posting here? It’s because he was always full of shit and was just paid to shill here.

I am guessing that this game is complete, but how does that work with having no abandoned tag?
Obviously, there is still a connection to the community, and if it's not finished, why hasn't there been anything new since the last time I came in here maybe last year?

Game isn't complete, sadly. However the Dev did say a complete version would be released by now. A few times in fact. How ever every time his patreon levels dip he releases a preview, or something like that, and his patreon count rises again. So it is the general consensus that they are, purposefully, milking money from their subscriber base and doing the very bare minimum (working at a very slow snails pace) to get the product finished. If they ever do decide to do that.

2. onyx praised icstor this year for paying him well and avoids any questions about the morality of working for a scammer.
3. onyx was here doing dmg control as a distraction and continuing scamstors lies with 0 proof of any truth to his claims.
4. The forum presence of onyx and his claims are enough for some sheep to believe and resub even if he is not outright promoting scamtors patreon, he is promoting it by association and his claims, regardless of him saying he doesn't promote it.

Ah so he is a milker...going by how this has been in production for over 5 years... I'd say it's working just fine for him.
When WAS the last update, I installed new NvME drives last year, then consolidated, so it's been a VERY long time, yet this still hasn't been abandoned or listed as such.

The consensus (cough for most cough) is that ICSTOR is a scammer. As Orgitas said, the dev updates for the most part only come when Patreon numbers are looking low. Along side that, we've been promised an update repeatedly throughout the time since the last update yet it never came and obviously still hasn't. Last I heard the "update" was 90% finished but there's really no telling if that's true or not outside of images with months of time in between them. Also, if memory serves anyway, ICSTOR has a history of abandoning all his (their?) projects. And what do you mean by no abandonded tag?

I wonder if here any forum member who were induced to donate ICSTOR by Onyxdime? I doubt if there are even a few number of such guys here. The main instrument is patreon page with promises of update. Its out of reach obviously. Patreon does not prevent scamming practice of non good-faith devs unless they violate incest bounds. from the logical point of veiw the most rational way is application to patreon instead of appointing some turkish writer as a scapegoat.

It's ok guess it can't be helped that this is abandoned, guess the creator got bored it happens, so far it was one hell of a ride innit guys? Kept me occupied for some hours each day for some weeks. I think it's sad when authors lose interest or pass away for sure, but getting to play some gems out of so many crap games was a pleasure.

But onyxdime isn’t just a writer. If he was just a writer then when he gave updates he’d give updates on his side of things like “hey guys just received some tenders from incstor and did some writing, still waiting on a few more batches of tenders from incstor, I’ll let you know when I get them”.

But that’s not what he said. He literally said he’s taking a more active role, managing the project, will make sure to see the game through to completion, that he’s received thousands of renders and has had more work in the last few months than he has in years, smugly telling people to enjoy the game when it comes out as if it will, constantly repeating it’ll be out in March/April, etc.

He’s not just giving updates on the writing side of things, he’s trying to convince people that the game is alive again and will be coming out soon. I find it hard to believe a simple writer would just say all that, because when incstor inevitably fails to follow through it’s your reputation that gets hurt. So why would onyxdime try so hard to convince people the game was coming out soon and out his reputation on the line if he wasn’t getting paid to shill for incstor? Like I said, if he was just a simple writer he’d keep his updates on his side of things…

Also just a funny quote from onyxdime “I hope you'll be able to look back over every comment I have made on here and see I've been acting with integrity and honesty the whole time.” And here we are in may, with 2 failed release dates, left in the dark with no end in sight, and no proof that anything onyxdime said was honest, because he was a shill the whole time.
