I might be reading too much into 1 comment but if you're less than 10 days off your latest possible release date and you're saying "could be done this week, but idk" , to me that reads like: it's not coming this week and don't expect it soon after either.

There is a business in Poland called ICSTOR, don't know for sure if it's him, but everyone can find it since it's public and it is about video games publishing. Even though he milks stupid people like cows through his Patreon, he doesn't even have to pay VAT because of the fact that it is connected to video games publishing. Too bad IRS don't know he stopped publishing ages ago and his earnings don't actually come from publishing video games but mostly scams hidden as 'support'. Maybe they should end it? :cool:

it is pointless to stress when it is still august, even if skeptical about the release.
there is still time untill august 31st 11:53PM.

He also said the update would be released about a week after the final preview. Then posted the final preview on July 31st, conspicuously close to when Patreon collects monthly payments. Icstors noncomittal "we are close, but I don't know how close" messages are blatant attempts at keeping Patreons from canceling their subscribtion before the end of the month.

He also said on February 26th that Milfy Mafia would be released in 2-3 months, only for Onxydime to tell us in May that he just now received the final renders for Milfy City.

I mean sure but they probably have a week max of development left on 1.0. Supposedly it's in beta testing and is just having the bugs fixed. They will have all the time in the world to take a break soon.

Here is what I think is going on. ICSTOR had a good thing going, especially when the money was (and still is) flowing. Some people get comfortable. They lose motivation and if they don't have to do much then why really try? Especially when not trying is just as lucrative as trying. I think the abandoned tag and obvious decline in revenue flow put a flame under ICSTOR's ass to get things going.

I think ICSTOR shouldn't have set a release date he clearly cannot hit. Maybe he was a little too optimistic or maybe he knows he will still make money when he moves the goalpost YET AGAIN. Either way, it's pretty shitty. From a strictly business perspective it's a master class in making money haha. I think outside of knowing he didn't have to do much and still make money, he is shitty with time management.

I am going to make a prediction and say we see the final game in August/September 2023. Considering the amount of work needed as indicated by Onxydime. At the end of the day, we can't deny the impact this game has had on the scene. Love it or hate it, this game is a cornerstone of this site lol.

ICSTOR is nothing short of a scumbag, seriously. When he released the previous update that was 0.6e, he said he wanted to take a break because he had been developing adult games for 4 years non-stop, that was in 2019. I guess to even that out, he took another 4 years vacation and enjoyed.

Honestly, he probably just sits on PC and consider if he's in the mood to do work and if not, he just skips work. It's the only explanation for such long ass dragged update. Not to mention, when he came out of his parasite nest, he actually said he wouldn't lie saying they are in for an August release, if you read again what he said, he pretty much did a word play there on purpose.

The truth to accept is this game dead, if ICSTOR has actually anything to release, he's probably going to drop it by december or later just to spite people waiting, that's how petty he is.

Was only pushed out when he was concerned having an [Abandoned] tag on this site would negatively affect him. The Carolina ending was also very rushed and extremly bad animated. She is my fav sis in the game.

We recently moved on to the alpha testing phase for Milfy City 1.0's release!
In an effort to keep you well-informed, we have been consistently updating the previous post every three days. We hope this approach has allowed many of you to stay engaged and keep up to date with the progress our team has been making.

While we are currently in the alpha stage, I am pleased to report that substantial progress has been made in addressing bugs. Roughly 65-70% of the reported issues have been successfully resolved. Some challenges proved more time-intensive than initially anticipated, underscoring the dedication of our programming team and testers.

It's important to note that our focus is not merely on playing through the entire game repeatedly but on ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish for the upcoming beta version. We appreciate your trust and patience as we work towards achieving this goal.

Presently, releasing the beta version with any lingering bugs, such as the ones I encountered after just 30 minutes of gameplay, is not in line with our quality standards.

We understand that many of you are eager for a specific release date. However, I must emphasise that pinpointing an exact date remains challenging due to the nature of unexpected bugs, some of which may require hours, rather than minutes, to address. Unfortunately, I have limited control over such unforeseen obstacles.

Our team is putting forth their utmost effort to launch the beta version this month. We are currently still on track to achieve this target, though I kindly ask for your understanding should a slight delay into the start of September happens. If that is the case I will let you know on the 28th August and keep in constant communication.

When the beta version is ready, we will make a comprehensive announcement across all platforms, ensuring that no one misses the exciting news.

Following the release, you can anticipate a massive rework in how our Patreon and Discord channel are managed. There was a serious lack of communication with Patrons over the past couple of years - and that needs to change.
Further details regarding of our new Patreon and Discord setup will be shared after the game releases.
