Thank you for sharing the information. From what I understand from the read, he has an unfinished work for the character Caroline and is not worth a release in order not to loose a bad job. Celia and Neighbors will have news and we will only see what we want from Caroline in July.

He has commented on his Discord that there will not be a release until everything planned for 0.6 is done and therefore the entire release will be delayed until he is back. Even though he says he "could" release the caroline part without animations its better to se it as he wont do it because he does not want to. He is the dev, he does as he likes. We can only hope for a fast recovery, we do not know the exact nature of his situation but based on his vauge description we can just hope that it is not a fully developed burnout syndrome. That will take more than 2 months to fix.

His animations make the game worth playing.

Making a game seems to require a lot of sedentary time in front of a computer, and many game developers I know have all sorts of problems with it, and I worry that a month or two vacation might not be enough to completely change that.
Anyway, I hope the developers can have a good health and a good mental state. The game is developed for the pleasure, not only for the pleasure of the players, but also for the fun of the game developers themselves.

Also his Patreon is not yet on hold either, nor is the game in here.

anyway.. are you trying to cheat somehow? dirtycheater, unren, unrpa etc?

Did you try to re-extract it? If you don't feel like doing the whole thing, just do the renpy folder.
