these game developers became like a politician, Just lie and milk our money. Most of the famous games either getting abandoned or milking our money for months and sometimes a year for eg. Love and submission, parental love, dual family and many more. Only a few developers keep up with their promises. Once they become popular and earn more, they forget about the customers and abandon the game at some point.

That's kind of unfair. There's nothing simple about making these games. This one is the best one I've ever played. If he's duping us contributors then that sucks, but we aren't talking about some studio with a lot of employees. It's just one or two pervy dudes making some seriously good content.

Nobody is holding a gun to his face when he said the update will be out in the first 1/3 of 2019.Neither when he later said to expect the update in June.Or when he said to wait 0.6 in August,or later in September and now 10 October.

i understand his frustration with a lot of negativ coments and all but bouth him and the poeple defending him need to understand that it's bean almoust an entire year since the last update, and when you add in the fact that there are 8 posts this years on his patreon conserning either updates or some eye candy, and considering that this year is going to be over in a few months that can get rly frustrating, and while after a certain point the extra $ can't speed up the procces as much as at the start, i can't rly blame people when they look at the testing phase takeing a month, the phrase "hire some extra testers with the extra $" is going to surface on the forums / discord / and patreon
his game is one of my fav (it actualy has a special place in my porn colection), but after such a long time and the hole we are going to take longer due to the content with the neighbor, than a few months later, weeeeell we took longer but the neighbor content ain't comming, and what was that does that mean that this way the update will come out faster, nope, but it will take longer by the way sooooo be patient?

I don't see where we're disagreeing? That sounds very reasonable to me in terms of how much time I expect the new update to take to play through. It took me about 3 hours to complete the 0.5 update content. So 0.6 taking over twice as long, considering it's twice the size, makes sense.

Did you play the game for three hours, or did the game flash a new picture every five seconds, along with one or two sentences? If you played it, then you're comparing apples to oranges.

Please try to grasp the total amount we're talking about here. You assume each and every render is ment to be shown as a picture on it's own with a few lines of dialog? Just to see if it's at all reasonable, let's assume that an average reader manages 250 words per minute. Just reading all the text in this update takes more than four hours. If you spend three seconds per picture, then that's an additional two hours. All in all six hours if the system will pump new pictures and new text non stop and you just watch it passively. We're talking something along the lines of two Lord of the Rings-movies.

As soon as you add any kind of interactivity here, the time will increase exponentially.

And we're not at all considering the amount of work needed to produce 60k words of text in something like a game such as this.

60k is nothing. Two of the scenes I'm working on right now top 8k and it's only about 15 minutes of game play. Now of course, that 8k accounts for different paths a character can take through the scene based on choices. But in total, it amounts to 8k of dialogue and description. Those were written in about six hours. I do my writing in Scrivener, so that's 8k before I've added in any renpy code.

I don't find 60k to be unbelievable at all.

If he intends to keep his word he would have to release 0.7. at the End of October or beginning of November... so if anything I think he'll deliver the missing Neighbor content, claiming that was the plan from the start... and than if you are lucky 0.8 will actually contain any new content to one of the main girls (maybe depending on a pole)

True. With ICSTOR you never know if the update will take 1 month or 1 year. If you compare with a similar popularity size like Mr dots, you know you'll get one update every month and an exact deadline the first day of making the update.

Are you supporting him? I assume not since you mention "his patreons", so what makes you think he cares what you have to say - just another random nobody on the internet.

If you aren't paying, your bitching is meaningless. If you are paying, bitching is still meaningless. The only way the dev will change is if his wallet takes a hit.

Feel free to downvote/facepalm, or whatever. I'm sure the circle jerking of dev hate will continue, even though he'll likely never see it, or care if he does.

As an aside, I don't like how he's communicated, etc. So I don't pay. Easy. When the game comes out, it comes out and I'll have lost nothing.
