? i don't really get what you're saying. If you click on the individual character in the walkthrough you'll see the time and location where you need to be to progress their story. Each character story is linear but certain characters have intertwining stories so sometimes you 'll need to raise another character's relationship points to a certain level before you can progress.
I usually tend to avoid sandbox games since I prefer more straightforward linear progression without the grind, but after focusing on some of the girls' objectives its slowly started to progress so, I just feel like sometimes I'm wasting time when there could be a more effective way of going through all the girls' paths instead of randomly just completing events. Anyway, I'm a little bummed to already be done with Syndra's content, that was unexpectedly short, but still advancing everyone else's. I'm guessing since this is a harem, we won't be penalized for 'dating' multiple girls simultaneously?
Yeah there are no penalties for dating/fucking multiple girls. Like you say it's a harem game.
