Is the bug only appearing if you load an older save? So new saves in 0.1.1 don't have the issue?

That is correct.
At least with my experience.
With a new game in 0.1.1 I was able to play till the end with no issue.

(minimum 6 months and maybe 10 more), a lactation part was planned in it from the beginning but not before version 0.7 release (around January 24 ?)...

I always liked the idea of futanari cowgirls. You as the milkman could mix the "produce" for extra protein depending on the clients' order. The milking machines(if you use them) would need an extra attachment though.
