I'm looking at the title graphic and I'm just curious why all the women look the same? Is it just that image or is it like that in the game?

They don't look the same, they are drawn in the same style. Let's look at them in detail:



1, 2 and 3 are all related - 1 and 2 are sisters, 1 and 3 are a mother and her daughter. 1 and 2 do indeed look like sisters - the same eye shape, the same jaw, but different eyebrows and 2's chin is slightly heavier. 1 and 3 - I'd say they are actually too different to look like relatives - different brows, different eyes, 3 has longer nose and more angular jaw. 4 and 5 are a mother and a daughter again, and this time it shows - they do look like a spitting image of each other - as they should. Now, 6 and 7 are unrelated to anyone, including each other. That's the only case where someone can say that their resemblance is unwarranted - and yet 6 got smaller eyes and fuller lips than 7, her nose is straight, her jaw is slightly softer and her nasolabial folds aren't as pronounced. (In fact, I was surprised to learn that she's about 35-40 years old, I expected her to be about 10 years younger than that.)

Besides, I'm not saying they should upload it onto any specific site, I'm just saying that if the game was on a site where downloading it is not required, it would be more accessible in general.

I don't know any other sites like that. Would you have some candidates?

Sounds like more than a few are related to each other. That would explain some of it. The faces and body types look very close to me however across the board. But that's just my impression.

To me, all the women look distinctly different, maybe except for Karen and Octavia. And I'm talking about not the pictures you showed (on them they are very different), but some arts in the game. Certainly, in the club anal scene it could have easily been Karen.

Nah, I'm a red blooded American. I just enjoy a variety of body types, faces with character, and varying ages from loli all the way to grandma.

I'd say that whole scene fits Karen better. But I don't want this post to devolve into another rant.

Speaking about the visual side, it doesn't help that Karen and Octavia, both being blondes, also have similar hairstyles:




Their everyday hairstyles are parted in the middle with bangs hanging from both sides. Octavia has a very long ponytail that goes to her waist, but we never see it.

Their "evening" hairstyles:




both are wavy middle-length bobs. Looks like Octavia fixes all her hair up in this hairstyle, with bobby pins or something, which results in further resembling of Karen's hair.

That's why I suggested on Discord to change the everyday hairstyle for Octavia to something that would show the length of her hair on her sprite, something like this perhaps:



with a part of her hair over the shoulder. As for the "Mask" look, I guess she could have a more heavy make up, with red lips and dark eyeshadow:

Continuing on the theme of visual differences between characters; my only serious beef with regards to visuals is that every woman in the game is cleanly shaven down there. The fact that no one has any sort of pubic hair is objectively doubtful, subjectively questionable (not everyone is a fan of bald and bold) and denies the characters further characterization, pardon the pun. Right now their bodies all look like they belong to porn stars (minus the tattoos), while if they had different styles of pubic hair it could've add another distinctive feature that would tell us about their personalities.

For example Claudia and Octavia would probably have conservative and neat triangles, Karen and Shirley would have French waxing (a strip of hair), with Shirley having a very thin strip at that, and Riley can have all the hair removed to emphasize her youth.

I myself find some form of pubic hair more attractive than bald. I may be mistaken but I think one reason it is so prevalent in these games is because it is just easier to create bald pubic areas in the renders.

Well, their discord channel says:

April 9th - Chapter 19 Alpha
Five Scenes (including one animation)
Sound Effect would receive a big update
Brand new unique BGMs
Day 19 fully voiced

They never say anything specific about the upcoming scenes. Probably there are hints in their patreon posts, but since no one cares enough to publish them here, who knows what's there. Personally, I'm going to donate 20 or 40 dollars once the game is finished, but donating every month for a year or more is crazily expensive for me.

Seeing the Claudia specific posts since 18 was released, I would believe what lordfridge9 said is pretty much what we can expect. By then, I think there'll be a boost again on the thread, so maybe more specifics on content afterwards will be delved into. Also, I just realized it's probably going to take a few years for the game to be entirely finished, if there's going to be 30 chapters, an odd thought really, though they would still deserve all the support by then.

Well, if it is 30 chapters, and considering that is it takes them 2 months to make a chapter, it is safe to say that the game will be finished at least in 22 months. Probably longer, since they have another game in development and probably there will be some "finishing" touches, such as some DLC or maybe some pictures of unimportant characters instead of those black contours.
So I guess, it is at least 2 years. Unless they get bankrupt before that.

probably the hottest scenes out there, with minimal cringe regardless of visual differences
Also a lot of games have characters who look strikingly similar, i think its because of the artists predisposition to a kind of face
Another point would be that its much harder ,to either perceive facial differences or to craft different faces, in 2D

Yeah, I am a patron so did see some posts. 0.19 should be out on the 9th of April (tomorrow) and will probs mostly focus on Claudia mask/swimming content as there were pics of her in area specific attires. However, 0.20 will be like August or September cause they're making a side thing in between 0.19 and 0.20 (which I'm not looking forwards too)

IIRC they will deliver Chapter 20 in June, but in August instead of Chapter 21 it's going to be a miniupdate containing additional content for the 20th day.

I do believe they will add extra content to one of the days, but the side thing is a completely different thing, not related to Milky Touch and more akin to Golden Days
