Well Miro didn't use Daz or Blender, he used some other program no one uses that's much harder and slower to animate in, and that's why his animations take forever and almost no one can be hired from the 3DX community with the experience to help him.

I can't remember the name but I'd just scour things he said to find the exact program. Regardless Miro has big PP aesthetic autism and I wouldn't try to imitate him, even the closest of the new wave of 3DX artists can't quite match his style. His very first animations were better than almost anything released even currently by people who evolved out of the SFM porn rush.

If by "some other program that no one uses" You mean Maya, industry standard and leading 3d software used by most studios, then yeah he is using it. It's even visible on some WIP previews he posts.
In case of Miro, for sure Animo IIRC, they do pron as side gig.
Here is a spec used by Miro (hw + software) can't recall thread from where I have those infos (they are one year old at this point).

Daz itsel'f is not best for animation. It's ok and it can be done but due to clunky Ui IMO it's not suitable for anything complex then importing animation and probably rendering with is still not good idea as there are much faster solutions. doberman studio uses daz for animations so look them up.
Basically it's either SFM / TK for animations that look like movies taken from games or blender / 3ds max / maya for more sophisticated ones.

And remember "it's not the tools, it's the craftsman". Daz can produce nice animations, but forget that it can be done without experience and spend time, a lot of time.

That's just the thing, studios are using it. Not poachable 3DX artists. Miro made a post on his patreon about how it was difficult to hire people for specifically that reason.

Most people who have gained a knack for slapping fist thick penises on women and animating it aren't using Maya, sad though it may be.

Or maybe it's hard to hire people because ones who use it use it for "properly paid" job positions and not for pron ?
Granted outcome is same no sane person will do animation for low budget projects, aka. not well paid jobs.
In company that I worked for there was request for animation, simple stuff, and quotations that they got from artists was like 10k € per month so ...

Well considering Maya is near $2000 a year, or $205/month, that makes complete sense. Add in computing costs, electricity bills, and then feeding and housing the artist(s). 10k/month is actually a reasonable price for work this amazing.
