there are good games, bad games, and everything in between. then there is category of its own - abortions, iow. games that couldve been good but all potential has been squandered (needless to say, this is exactly one of those)

excellent animations, well designed ui, decent enough art, good concept and overarching narrative.. combined with extremely bad character design and development (with mc perhaps best described as retarded doormat) exacerbating linearity of the story and atrocious dialogues, ultimately make for an excruciatingly infuriating experience

Surprisingly engaging story and well written characters. A great example of a game that you start for the "plot" but actually stay for the plot.

That's not to say that the porn is bad. On the contrary, the renders are fantastic and the animation top notch. The scenes usually tie in well with how the rest of the story develops, though they do feel kinda silly at times, slight spoiler
The cast is fairly well written and their characters evolve organically as the story develops. Personal favourites are Robin & Noreia, with Noreia edging the top spot. What can I say, I'm a sucker for women with horns.

Looking forward to the dev's next project, if it's half as good it's a definite success.

Mist has a compelling story, good animation, and great characters.
I couldn't stop playing this title because, I wanted to know what was going to happen to the characters next. I must say I blew through this b/c I was so attached to the story and the characters!f

The developer did a fantastic job creating the world, and the story for this title. This is on my "Must Play" list.

There were things I was hoping I'd get to see with the characters, and it even happened further into the story. The ending is great also!

This is definitely worth playing, and I'll be following the developer to see what other enthralling titles are on the horizon. Hopefully, there will be more lights in the dark

One of the best games I have ever played. The story and the animations is amazing, i love all the character especially Robin, man im gonna miss Robin. Overall i recommend playing this game. 10/10

A very interesting mix of slight horror and lewd game. Haven't seen anything like it yet. Customizable difficulty, functional gallery, likeable characters, serviceable story. Art style might not be for everyone but if it's for you I suggest giving it a shot.

I usually only play and never leave reviews or even comments but this game made me feel compelled to give it a 5 star review due to the effort alone.

Mist is one of the most well made porn game I've played in so many years, from the characters to animations to the story. This isn't to say that it is perfect, but for a porn game you really can't ask for more.

Choices in the game don't matter because the harem end is fixed, so for people who prefer monogamy maybe this is a minus. But for me it is fine.

The dialogues do get silly some times but not bad enough to make you stop playing. I'd say that the humour fits the style of the game.

Very solid game, I recommend everyone playing it.

I was actually gonna rate it lower than 4 but despite some dumb decisions this game is an actual gem, I played v0.11. Also AN ACTUAL FINISHED GAME? WOW
So lets start with the positives.

• Story and concept was amazing. The story is linear but thats not bad.
• The characters aren't annoying, they're lovable (Noreia 10/10).
• Renders are a 10/10.
• Animations 11/10. A game where there's actual visible bulge. Thats a plus for me.
• Music and sound effects were good, game felt alive.
• The sandbox part wasnt grindy.
• The combat was ok for a RenPy game.
• QTE were a nice idea although too easy.

The negatives are mostly nitpickings but some were actually frustrating.

• The most annoying and stupid one. For a porn game there is almost no fken human contact. There is literally almost NONE hugs,kisses or whatever ppl do when they are together. There is SOME towards the end but still 85% of the game has none. Its just sex scenes. At the beginning of the game u play for like 2 hours, nut inside of a girl and THEN you kiss her. wtf thats not how human relationships work . Also on the latter part of the game in the cave everyone is sleeping with 1 meter distance between them. WHY give us MORE HUMAN CONTACT.
• When u get cursed and u drink the overdosed horny drink u'd expect to go haywire yet u unload once and u're done. Is the MC 40+wtf
  
• It would be nicer if u could scavenge the other places or the hotel for things u need. Finding everything in your grandpa's hut is dumb. This does happen later on but still in the beginning you find everything in your house.
• In the middle part of the game the hole fix the cables part is completely boring and feels like a filler.

That's all. It got really bad in some parts but still the positives outshine the negatives. This game is super worth playing. Can't wait to see what comes next.

There is clearly a LOT of effort put into this game! THe animations are good, the sound effects and music are good and timed well. It's got a paranormal theme which is not usually my thing but is done very well. The sex scenes are quite well done. If I have to think of a flaw, I don't really like the hair on the girls, but it's not enough to lose any points from me. There's a lot of sandbox stuff but the tasks are all different enough that it's not a grind - especially if you put on the cheat mod. This is probably one of the top 5 games on this site for quality. WELL DONE.

Been checking back on this game everyone once in a while for over a year and it's great! The art style might take some getting used to as it is unique in the space, but the atmosphere is fantastic! Typing this while downloading version 0.11 really hoping the ending is good!

A fantastic game with a very good story. The gameplay is decent and the scenes are awesome. The characters are nice. Robin and Noreia being my favorites. Noreia could have had more scenes and I somehow felt the ending wasn't upto mark. Still, I recommend playing this game.

Mist has a unique artstyle that, honestly, I wasn't initially sold on. However, the animations and environments are quite good and I quickly warmed up to it. The gameplay is fairly straightforward and not as complicated/grindy as it may seem at first. Writing is well done if a bit rough at the beginning and a tad predictable by the end. Overall it's an easy recommend.

1) Story is smooth, interesting, top quality overall. Game is totally linear, choises needed only for immerse (I presume) so feel free to choose what you like. Writing is satisfying. (+)
2) Characters are believable enough. Girls are very cute, somewhat cartoonish with nice and well developed personalities. (+)
3) Sex scenes are top quality indeed, a lot of work put in it. Animations are really smooth and great quality overall. In terms of fetish it's maledom/vanilla mostly. (+)
4) Gameplay is quite balanced. Combat system and rpg elements are simple and not dominates other aspects of the game. Sandbox elements gives good enough illusion of freedom. All elements of the game are balanced to feel smooth and satisfying experience. (+)
5) Content quantity/quality: the game is finished, a lot of content overall, including sex scenes. Long game almost without quality drops in most aspects. (+)

This game worth 5/5. I can surely recommend this game to most players (18+) cause of it's very good quality overall and totally player friendly exp.

One of the best games I have ever played. The story play gameplay and animations all are legendary level. I freaking loved this game. Without a doubt in my mind that I would play this game couple of times more and definitely suggest others to play. the developers did an excellent job. Been playing since its initial release and have eagerly played each new update. I havent followed the development nor its community however I do feel that this is an amazing game!!

+ Amazing setup of characters with great bond
+ Really inspiring choice of style and art.
+ Long and potent story which really affects each and every other aspects.

- a bit limited in its own scope, as in defining its "game"
- The need for grinding for food really did nothing for the game. (not talking about leveling, but only food grind)


After about 1/3 of its development I bought a copy of this game on Itch.io.
Will follow 395 games and see what more then can create!

Fantastic game from start to finish. Characters are written fantastically and very loveable (Team Mia 100%.) Story is a bit supernatural but never breaks your suspension of disbelief, something I find a lot of games really fail to pull off. Never got bored even in between the action portions of the story. Amazing stuff really.

Can't wait to see what the dev comes out with next!

One of the best games I ever played from top to bottom.

Pros:
* The Graphics are exceptional and the girls are stunning. I'm pro team Mia myself.
* I typically don't like sandbox styles or more like I'm half and half regarding the usefulness of them. However, there's no way that this game hits this hard if it's a VN game. The jump scares, wandering aspect and overall the whole adventure feel doesn't work unless it's a sandbox style, I'm just being honest here.
* Story is well put together, and keeps you invested the whole time.
* The sex scenes are hot and very fappable.

Cons:

I should've played this sooner, I'm still shaking my head.

This game was a breath of fresh air for me. The plot, characters, h-scenes, environment ambience all were top notch. I would've loved a bit more at the ending but that's just me I guess.

It's a really great game, that worths the time investment. The story is gripping, it kept me on the edge always looking forward for the next update. There is plenty of variation in terms of the adult scenes, wich combined with the kinda unique graphical style makes this an outstanding title. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Now that the story is complete it's time for a review (v0.11)

-Renders: Artstyle was kinda strange at first but you can really tell that the developer improved a lot over time and the renders in the last updates are absolutely top tier, including animations, cinematic camera angles and movement etc.

-Writing: Has been really good from the start and stays interesting all the wqy to the end, all the characters are interesting without being stereotypes or completely out there and the progression feels natural. You don't need to drag up every anime trope to make memorable characters and this game proves it.

-I really liked the pacing, it starts slow and slowly builds up but never gets hectic until the great finale of course. Many games rush through their story but this one has well placed cooldown times where you're just chilling with your girls. The game is long enough to feel like an adventure but not too long, good sweetspot imo but that's very subjective.

-Characters: A bunch of normal people in a crazy scenario, trying to do their best. It feels right. And even the supernatural mystery waifu feels very grounded. I'm not gonna spoil stuff but the game does get dark and serious from time to time and somehow the dev managed to handle it tastefully every time, good job.

-Seggs: There's enough time spent on buildup and enough time after the first time to experience a lot of different things with every character. The writing is good and avoids cringe by having the characters be self aware and acting real. I like a lot of communication and writing during sex scenes, it's a VN afterall.

Overall I really recommend it, there's also no NTR or other controversial stuff in here so yeah just check it out. I actually felt really good after the ending while already missing the characters. That's the sign of a good game imo.

So one of the finest game of this forum has come to an end, initially I was avoiding it because the models were not that appealing to me but decided to give it a try seeing the positive review. I was amazed seeing how nicely story was done along with character development well integrated with it. Definitely worth the play, waiting for the next project from the dev he has set the bar really high for himself.
