Hi, I played for the first time in a couple years, and I didn't see scenes I remembered. I remember scenes where, for instance, Robin was tied up in the garden while the MC practices magic. Were these scenes censored out, or did I miss them due to -- for instance -- having good-guy points too high?

I made a cheat mod for this Masterpiece game, one of my favorites and decided to share it.

Mod Version : Universal. (It should work on all versions.)

Added New Features.

Important Note: Don't use (Wood, Stone, Metal, Supply.) cheat at the beginning of the game. Use it when it's needed only and don't overuse it.​

- I started a new game and used the cheat mod. I didn't have any Bug or Error. even when I ignored "Read B4 Using the Mod" Instructions.

I haven't used this mod, but the mod should be placed in the folder called 'game'. Make sure you haven't created a sub folder called 'game' inside the 'game' folder.

Could be. Not all mods are compatible with all ports.

Looks like a nice game, but I'm stuck at preparing for the city. All the tips and tricks given here in the thread don't work for me though and I'm not going to start over.
Buggy games are just aweful, especially if they're still buggy after this much time.

The problem is vastly discussed here in this very thread. Stuck at the point were you're required to prepare to go to the city. In my case I don't get shown the path to the gasstation, despite having done all tasks and all scenes with the girls, etc.

I don't use any mods or patches, and it's just frustrating to have to start over after some 10+ hours.

I'd wager you're missing something, but it can be hard to know what. Maybe don't restart the whole save, but try again from just before you get the mission and be extremely fastidious about searching things?

I mean, I just kinda blindly stumbled through that segment myself. It'd be very strange indeed if it's bugged for you, but not for me, despite the code being identical and both of us presumably running on windows.

If you still can't manage it, I can pass you one of my saves from around the first entry into the city too.

As I said. I've researched possible solutions allready in this very thread, and it seems to be a very common problem at exactly this point in the game an the only solution seems to be to start over or get a savegame from someone else.
I'm not willing to start over and I'm sure as hell won't downlaod and run a savegame from someone I don't know. Maybe I'll give it another shot in the future, but at the moment I just want to share my frustration for this highly praised game.

I'm sorry you're stuck and I get why you're frustrated, but could you clarify some details? I'm particularly interested in the value of the following expressions (true or false):

liftrepair01.is_done
liftrepair02.is_done
liftrepair03.is_done
liftrepair03 in quests02

You've got to enter these expressions in the console separately, otherwise you'll get no results. I can work out where you're stuck and what to do next by looking at the value of these.
To enable the console open the file ...\MIST-1.0.3-pc\renpy\common\00console.rpy in a text editor find config.console = False (line 108) and replace False with True. Then in the game press Shift + O

I think you're right about the game being unique, but don't you think you're being a bit too categorical? Take the next game by the same developer, for example...

I believe it's called “complex character”.
I too had my doubts about Nora in the beginning, but then I was pleasantly surprised by the way the story developed. The presence of such characters adds intrigue to the plot, so it's not surprising that they're often used.
