Pleasantly surprised by this game.
Hope this post won't sound too reviewish as I still am in the early phase of my playthrough.
First off,
Noxurtica, thank you so much for delivering a game with a female protagonist, yuri, female on female domination *and* female on female footjob, no less, without any futanari. That is a rare gem it itself.
The dialogue is pretty nice and fits the medieval theme. Not just funny, it's also deep and intruiging, just like a fantasy RPG should be. This is quite an improvement from most of the games we see around. The focus on dialogue is important in every game, and excellent grammar as well as a rich vocabulary are highly valuable, as this also helps make localizations without fearing loss of context.
The characters, even NPCs, have a personality. I would not recommend players to skip the introduction, as they aren't just faceless assets with random names that will just be tossed around if someone likes them. The story immersion literally begins as early as the intro itself. Even though I came here to play as my own gender and have some femdom fun with an elven slave, I ended up caring a lot about the backstory. I rarely play for the story, but color me surprised in the good sense here.
If I really wanted to criticize, then maybe the following:
- assets could use transparency when displayed to avoid background conflict as well as resolution adjustment (this is purely cosmetic nitpicking)
- the doors can be fairly unintuitive in sideview (it actually took me several tries to find how to open the door to the protagonist's room even though that was pretty obvious)
And that one, of course, is all "but my perfect females only world" bias and delusion, so please just take it as a joking note and don't take it too seriously: "of course it had to have men and dicks in it!"
Jokes aside, it is very nice to see that the focus is on the lesbian route and the training of your slave. Slave training games are my favorite, usually the ones that involve deep stats (because I'm a number psycho) but this is refreshing, entertaining and arousing at the same time.
Looking forward to how this develops in the future! Please don't worry too much about not having a Discord, you are far from the only developer allergic (if the word isn't too strong) to social networks, and livechat-like interactions tend to overpressure both sides, which is not how communication works. We all have very limited time and a real life to handle.
Lastly, thank you so much for being able to take the time to reply to the community here and for providing us with several ways to support you while publicly sharing your progress. This is really appreciated as regular communication is key in development!
Please take your time and focus on your main game when you can spend time on it. Taking a project to heart and not getting distracted with other projects that are unlikely to ever be completed while causing the main one to be abandoned is what makes a game developer stick to doing what they really love, improving, making progress, getting constructive feedback, both good and bad, and this is what makes everyone happy, really.
Hope I'm not going out of my way here. If so, I truly apologize.
