Oh no, I totally agree on having a roadmap, that's one of the reasons I fucking love Baal(guy making Super Powered), he always has a very clear idea of what he's going to do with each version, and then follows through with force.Why not? Isn't designing based on a logical path?
Well, random gobbledygook aside, it would be nice if designers gave a rough idea of where they were intending to get to and how many steps would be involved. As a writer and producer I understand how the creative process works and that changes occur during production. Still, just a rough plan would make 90% of these games better.
