I want more Monster Black Market, so I'm happy about this. There's still a lot of room to explore the concept. And with this timeskip I might finally get a chance to enslave the main girls.

Edit: Also, like MA_Dude said, reusing resources means the new game may come out within the year. While on the other hand the Darkest Dungeon concept would probably take years of development.

Sure, fully understand motivation part.
One more question, and I bet people here already asked you about it: do you plan to share a source code for your mod? Just curious if there's anyone who might want to expand on your ideas/new mechanics.

As for modding support on future game and asset loading, I'd love to see the system to be more flexible. But I also understand that Spine and Unity integration is usually built in such way it's not supposed to be easily moddable. Community also don't have access to spine v4, which is a pay-walled modding tool basically. I can help with downgrading to 3.8.75 and port it back to v4 via internal upgrading, but that sucks.

Oh yeah, and community should definitely ask devs to keep using Mono build in their next game. That will be decisive on modding scene in general.

Monster Black Market was finally one of the most legitimate porn games out there, so expanding that really doesn't bother me. The previous direction sounded lame.

I created a mod RestlessFlora so no matter how many units you hand to Flora to dismantle, she won't fall down anymore lol.

Key point (imho) they will not use assets from Monster Black Market, so development will not be faster. They also mentioned what they want to focus on sex scenes rather than fighting scenes. So this new game shapes to be just a clone of Monster Black Market but instead of buyng slaves you capture slaves.

I think we'll get a better idea if a video trailer comes out. I wanna see animations "behave" in real time in this new game. I'm exited because Black market kept me busy and now with complex breeding i get anywhere from 2-6 hours of more gameplay.
I hope whatever they make is a good game.

Personally I don't mind them dropping the Darkest Dungeon knock off concept in favor of a sequel that's more like the first game gameplay wise. I just hope they include more Monsters to breed this time around. Especially since we have now dropped the whole Brothel concept in favor of pure Monster breeding/conquest. It's a tad weird the named NPC's of the first game are now leaders of countries though since in the Rune ending you would have enslaved them.

I do think think an erotic Darkest Dungeon would probably sell like hot cakes considering people made Lewd mods for that game. But it sounds like these devs underestimated the difficulty of copying it. Not sure I buy the excuse of there being too little lewd content since in theory pretty much every battle could have rape attacks on the girl adventurer party. I think they just realized how much work, and time it would need to make that game then realized that's why no one else has made it yet lol.

Are there any mods/files that can enable brainwashed NPCs some milk? The feature was possible in v2.0.0.0 but was patched in v2.0.3.0 due to several bugs when the DLC was released. 1690612078872.png
I gave all NPCs 80k-85k milk on v2.0.0.0. (Yes I used Cheat Engine to get absurd amount of byproducts and consumables) I don't want to reinstall the game again on that version since it has so many visible bugs like Nero and Anna giving birth to Human species instead of Neko and Hitsuji species respectively.

Head-up for Complex Breeding Mod on Master difficulty (Golden Ending):

So I've beaten the un-modded game multiple times on Master with all girl achievements + 50000 gold (Golden ending), even in the older versions before the DLC and the tentacle eggs. I decided to try the complex breeding mod because I read it was more difficult.

Well, uh, yeah, can confirm that one.

If the difficulty of MBM, with the 100% golden ending is a 5 / 10, CB is more like 15/10. In the original, money wasn't an issue past the first ten days or so. In CB, money is extremely difficult to hold on to until late game, mostly due to high maintenance costs. Past the ending point, it really doesn't matter because you can always stockpile gold with unlimited time, but trying to do the achievements, breed rare monsters (for gold income), and juggle the increased costs of pretty much everything, in a fifty day time limit, is not very fun and honestly stresses me the fuck out.

If you are planning on playing the game with CB, get the CB for dummies mod and turn it on. It'll cut down on some of the difficulty and its highly configurable. It'll still be more difficult then base game, but its more manageable.

EPlayEventType.OverDismantling.GetValue(0) here gets the value in your pic, 15
So when a pseudo-random num in (0,100) < 15, triggers this event.

Edit: And in this checking, this event will never happen after day 50.
