Am I dumb or does it not seem like the milk actually does anything as the tutorial tells you?
So actually milk DOES work but it has a low chance to have an effect. I *think* that using more at once actually increases the chance as well as increases the effect it has (as in, using 10 at once has a better chance to give effects than 10, 1 at a time)
Not sure though. Also, some positive stats don't come from milk, like dwarf multi-pregnancy for instance.

Side note, has anyone gotten the usagi racial trait to actually work?

Do you need max affinity with them all or just the 50k?
Looks like you need max likeability with all unique NPCs too, not just gold. Checked it on other save.

Feeding milk 1 by 1 is pointless (except growing loli's into adults). You need to use multiple, 25 milk at once give a good chance for stats.
Only Furry and Normal milk give multiple pregnancy. Dwarf milk don't work (it's probably bug or it was removed on purpose).

As I understand it, Usagi trait just have chance to give +1 fetus. So number of possible multiple pregnancy 1+1, 2+1 and 3 is cap, so this trait is useless then.

I dont think it's chance thing with milk, i think it's incremental upgrading. So basically you need to give 5 milks get 1 upgrade. I haven't tested it but that's the pattern I thought I was seeing.

Nah, I've had single milks give upgrades too. The chance is just so low it's hard to tell. I think it's about 5-10%.

I greatly enjoy pregnancy and breeding (and generally wish there was more games in this genre), although I'm a bit put off by the more hardcore elements insinuated in this game with the "disassembling", which I strongly want to avoid.

The thread makes it sound as if in order to create the fertility health potion and unlock the content with one of the npc's you have to kill some of the women, which is a no-go for me.

Is it possible to play this without killing any of the girls? Is there a way to unlock the content or purchase items in a shop without the "slave ingredients" (ew)?

I've enjoyed what I've tried thus far, but I don't want to go further if that is a core element of the game design. Thank you!
Just cheating and you can pass without kill any of the girl
i used saveeditonline to cheat >_< . BTW , i hope developer will allow us to use trait upgrade item in bundle like milk , that item is tired to use because you can only throwing 1 each time.

In case anyone is wondering what happens at the end if you finish the game with enough gold on day 50 to buy the organization.
You need min 50k+ gold and max likeability of all NPCs to get happy ending.
Alright, here's an incentive to break the game in half! I mean... playing the game for another round.
Joke aside, I kinda wonder how far I can play while keep the business as "ethical" as possible.
If I have a clear goal, money shouldn't be a problem, but on another hand affection might became a problem.

It does, just the explanation from the tutorial was less than clear. Basically you have two uses for it, giving small amounts to babies in order to speed up their growth (only really useful in the super early game when you are always short on money).

The other use is in enhancing the stats of a given girl, like more compatability, more capacity to have additional children, more hp, stuff like that. However to see any really noticeable effect, you need to pour tons of it into a single girl, so the best options are either an early slave with a high birth total capacity, usually above 30, or one of the six special awarded slaves you get from compeleting the favor side quest with the npc assistants.

Sadly baring using a cheat engine or something similar no, there is an option for I guess slightly less unethical dissassembling which is waiting until one of the girls dies from a cause, then let the crazy elf disassemble the dead body (waste not want not) but even then that is still a bit much for most people. Also given how the game requires you to use genomes from disassembled species to create the final two monster types, aka the last two weeks as they are the required monsters. You basically can't beat the game without doing it at some point.

I just started playing ,but can you only breed monsters? I'm asking cuz I noticed I can create monster with + birth counts which would be good for female slaves, but I have yet to give see a female slave birthed so I best i can do is create monster slaves with reduced baby growth time which is nice for breeding and selling, but that's about it

Thank you for the responses and information everyone. I sadly don't think the game is for me, which is a huge shame, because I like a lot about it, and wish there were more games like it out there. Maybe if the dlc provides a way to play without that aspect, but it doesn't sound like it will.

The only other game I can think of where in pregnancy and (very fictional and fantastical) "eugenics" (need a less loaded word for it to be quite honest) are a fun element is Free Cities, which has a lot of extreme content that is thankfully very avoidable. Would be nice to know if there are any other interesting or good games out there, or good threads with lists, but I don't think there is, or at the very least, not of the quality or theme I'm looking for.

Eventually slaves can birth more female slaves, at day 21 you unlock something that makes it possible. Monsters however are not able to pass on traits to female slave offspring by any means. You can incrementally increase traits through the female slave birthing method that becomes available but it's not as fast as spamming milk.

In case you want to know more about milk, here's some info courtesy of snapdragon37:
Given milk seems to be a hot topic:

When any milk is used on a character (male or female), the game goes through this process for every milk used:
  1. If the character is dead or a newborn (still in the birthing room), nothing happens and the milk isn't consumed. Don't go on to other steps.
  2. If this is the first time milk has been used, grant a positive trait. Otherwise, grant a positive trait with a 15% chance.
  3. If the character in question is a baby, finish their growth into either a monster or child. If the character is a child, grow them into an adult.
  4. Delete one milk.
Each milk has a list of traits it can apply and each trait has an equal chance of being applied. Notably, loli milk has no assigned traits, so it will never add traits if the chance succeeds.
MilkTraits
Human+5% conception chance
-5s baby growth time
Elf-5g daily maintenance cost
+15 max health
Dwarf+5% conception chance
+3 max birth count
Furry+10% conception chance
+1 simultaneous pregnancy
-10s baby growth time
Small Furry+10% conception chance
+6 max birth count
-10g daily maintenance cost
Dragonian+10% conception chance
-10s baby growth time
+30 max health
+6 max birth count
Normal+5% conception chance
-5s baby growth time
-5g daily maintenance cost
+15 max health
+3 max birth count
+1 simultaneous pregnancy

Logic info is from MBMScripts.GameManager.GetMilkTraitList() and MBMScripts.Item.Use(), per-milk traits are in lists mentioned in the former method, and the translation from the arbitrarily-named event codes to stats is from the en file in _Data/StreamingAssets/Localization.

The only general traits that cannot be improved by milk are "health consumption during breeding" and "mating time" so if you are creating slaves and monsters with the DNA vat those are arguably the traits you'd want to prioritize.
