The latest news that I know currently is the devs are gonna release both the DLC and the new RPG-esque project simultaneously.
So that's probably the hold up and lack of major updates and feature addition recently except for small bug fixes.

You can't sell unique Characters...or dismantle them... only thing to "loose" them would be by haveing them die.
though you can move them to player estate... which only unlocks once you reached day 51 for the first time

Last i checked could access the personal estate before day 51 use to be different where you had to.

Now as to how you can lose a unique slave is simple if you don't have them max depravity then they can escape via brothel like any other slave that does not have max depravity. Had this happen with my dwarf princess before.

You can access the personal estate on day 1 on new playthroughs if you've previously reached day 51 (i.e. survived all 50 days) on at least one playthrough on any difficulty.

"Complete" is a lie. It's "Beta" at most.

The UI is raw and painful. Especially in the later stages of the game.

The gameplay and progression are raw. Instead of good progression we get "cheat" characters at certain stages of the game. Same with monsters and DNA. Just random until you get good stats. Good/bad body don't matter. Big/small dick/balls don't matter. Most of the traits don't matter. Progression for trader NPC is dumb, because nearly all of the store-bought girls go into the shredder.

And the bugs...

Couldn't agree more. F95Zone must be on the coast somewhere because of all the salty dogs. Think I'm gonna make a banner, "Game is shite because I can't shite without the game!" and give it to all of them. I especially love the unity/unreal, NTR/non-NTR, and let's not forget the 'no sexual content' flag discussions...

This was mentioned in the last two pages of this topic. Please at least read through the last couple of pages of a topic before asking or using the search function at the top of the page. But to answer your question, no real fix, other than turning on the tutorial, or doing it as early as possible. Also make sure you have the latest version, as it was partly fixed in the update. I've had no issues with the decomposing slave in the latest version, with or without the tutorial, but then again, I've decomposed my slave before day 10 in every playthrough.

On the previous page. No solutions so far. Just reload the save and bypass it by stocking up on anti-std meds and selling/disassembling infected girls when you run out.

To be clear, the issue isn't you wanting games that you enjoy, it is declaring that all games that you do not enjoy are shit ... in the threads for those games ... directly to the community that enjoys and supports them.

To address your points:

1. The game is an excellent rendition of a brothel management/breeding sim. That doesn't mean it can't be improved, but the UI is designed for that purpose and works perfectly well.
2. All games have bugs, and I personally have two full playthroughs without encountering any of them. That is a pretty good track record considering that the game has been in development the entire time I was playing.
3. The random stats are an intentional part of the design as you are supposed to breed the best possible stats yourself. As far as the slaves go, you can just use an origin dna to reroll until you have all or mostly green stats, then feed them all the milk until everything maxes out. I was able to get maxed stats of every species in the game without cheats by ~ day 40.

If you don't enjoy the gameplay loop, that is fine. You don't have to. But, don't expect a warm welcome from a community when you call something shit without any intent to have a productive discussion.

I'll provide mutually beneficial discourse; you make some points. There are a lot of rough spots. I think the game is only fun with the pixies. IE, when you don't have to do the majority of the busywork.
the 'cheat' girls is another good point. They are vastly superior to base-model, and they are pretty easy to unlock, too. Buying girls just to send straight to the grinder is another aspect which I thought could have done better.
NG+ is also way too easy. Have d1 access to a gold-male to get nearly-perfect girls after 2-3 generations breaks the difficulty curve, even on Master.

If you wanna try and enjoy the game as is, you could try the cheat and QOL mods. (Tho Make sure to disable Health Pixy Plus, it's bugged).
Alternatively, play without the cheat girls or without the NG+ male character, or both. Just don't play without pixies, lol.

They can also escape if not "tamed" before letting them work in the brothel.
