Edit: before trying the display problems solution, go into the game files and delete any file with a .rpyc at the end, apparently they can get borked and cause this issue. They then should be re-generated on game startup.

Edit2: v20.3c is now out to fix bugs, additionally Mika now uses her revised art.

Try this out actually, based on the error log it seems like a display error with the render somehow?
No clue if it will work as I can't replicate the issue on loading.

This may also apply to you. But I don't know if it will work.
All right with accordance to your suggestions I nuked all the .rpyc files in all forms of testing with the differant variables with trying the old saves in the new V20.3c (and V20.3b) with the Open GL, Direct X, And software. Making new saves of the old saves in the latest version that ran it V20.2b with those settings and .rpyc files nuked (and always made sure when new versions came out to update my latest saves in town). And my Fat Radeon R9 280 I could club an elk to death with has its latest drivers, (even tried rollbacks). Honestly think the saves ate paint chips somewhere during v14, and some weird/junk information in the saves are just not compatible anymore.

On the bright side the new versions for me are stable and ran into no problems with anything else. And already plowed my way to level 46 and constantly banging on the narcoleptic succubus's door till she throws money at me to leave.

This is for those who were interested in modding MGD, such as georgetakei, and started, or were thinking about, using the Waifupocalypse mod that I had attached to this post here. Unfortunately, the latest update that features Mika's new art broke the mod, but there is good news. The mod creator has already updated the mod to account for this and has uploaded it to Discord. As such, I have replaced the file on that post with the new version of Waifupocalypse.

So, if you have downloaded and started using the mod, make sure to use the new version of the mod with the latest MGD update to avoid any bugs that will arise due to the new Mika art.

I haven't caught up with this game very well but it looks amazing. Any idea when it'll be completed or in beta? Last time I played I couldn't get past the flower boss. I think it was optional, but still.

Completed, probably a couple of years realistically, from what i can see and infer from comments by patrons and Threshold the game is less than or around 1/4 finished (as far as i know). Beta is another thing all together, frankly the game could be called Beta now and it wouldn't be too far from that mark, what a Dev wants to call Beta and Alpha is pretty flexible these days and what your expectations are of a Beta and what a Dev provides as, or calls a Beta may not match up, IMO this game is more developed and polished than an Alpha but i can see why the Dev wouldn't want to call it that since the game isn't anywhere near completion yet.

Is Threshold working continuously on this game?, yes, however he still works his day job so he's not a full time Dev currently so how long the game will take to finish is difficult to say but a good while. Is there a decent amount of content here?, yes, especially if you take into account a mod like waifupocalypse ( i think i spelled that right) which adds additional content for existing characters and adds a few new characters on top of that, and yes there is plenty of content(with or without mods) post Nicci, the alraune boss, in fact three whole areas: the forest dungeon, the mountain and the mountain temple all of which are fairly content dense.

Hope that helped.

Hello thresholdMGD,

first of all I want to thank you for making this game. I am currently at the temple, trying to fight both Oni's at once.

I am not a native English speaker, so please excuse me for upcoming mistakes.

The current content and the style of this game is great, that's why I came up with some ideas/criticism/suggestions that I want to share with you:

1. Stats Information

Maybe I'm dumb, maybe I can't read but most of the lvl ups I spend my points in Power. Power because I was thinking that this will maximize my dmg output of EVERY skill.
Some time later in the game I found out, that the "Core Skill" named by the description of Power isn't the same Core Skill named under Allure.
So in the end pain skills are the only boosted skills i currently have... Damn it.

Could you add a parenthesis behind every "Core Skill" of the players Stats? Something like "(eg. pain skills, thrust)"
Or did I interpret Core Skills wrong?

2. QoL. Information about Events and progressive stories

While playing this game, I'm completely clueless how much progress I have on every Event, every progressive event or any quest.
I don't even know which encounter have a progressive story line and which encounter is just the same and only simple repeatable. I feel so lost about this...

For example: I've spamming the encounters for the lizard girl (Kyra) and the Inn's event (Trisha) because I have the feeling that the first encounter isn't the last content for them.
But unfortunately only Trisha has one development (to confront her about being a succubus).
I don't know which event (Mystic Forest, Forest Dungeon and Mountain) is a one-time event and after that it's just repeatable or which of them have more content after "playing" it more.

Could you make a additional information, a note/hint for every event/encounter, which contains more than just one scenes? For example:

Going for adventure -> clicking on the map on Mystic Forest -> seeing the purple book with the tabs "Monsters ; Events ; Quest" -> clicking on "Events" -> hold the mouse over the "Lizard Sightings" (left side of the book) -> Now we will see the description of that event and ADDITIONAL this hint: "Extra content available" or "extra content in development" or "Every content already finished" or "No content seen at all! (in red)"

Or make a new Tab with every NPC that will have additional content. As long as we didn't encounter them, their portrait should be black. After "unlocking" them there should be some information's about the extra content, maybe some tips how to unlock them and maybe the amount of extra content for this character. (And maybe a reset button? For people who want to play that specific content again or just simply want to try another route (e.g. first content the dominant route, the next content the passive/submissive route)

Which NPCs are having a progressive story line already or are in plan to have one?

3. Content idea for Trisha

Since I am a Breast Expansion lover I really liked the answer Trisha gave us, after giving her a breast massage at combat. And since talking to her about her nature of being a succubus I was exited to see some additional content for her *cough cough* with a specific expansion of course *cough cough*.
I've read some post here that there will be some extra content but at this time it isn't finished yet. I want to use this opportunity to give you some ideas to expand the additional content:

1. Allure, Tech, and power are core stats and buff skills listed core. Allure boosts all skill damage, just not by a lot overall.
Power will boost pound too quite a bit.

2. That's a neat idea, tho If I implement something like that I'm not sure if it would be quite like that.

3. I greatly appreciate the immense amount of effort you put into the Trisha idea, but I believe a lot of it is a bit too convoluted, I do already have her family situation planned and don't intend to change it. But I do understand the want for it to be a bit more than feed her X times to make her evolve, so I may do some kind of side quest, just not something as grand as you suggested. However I do also understand the want for multiple tiers of titty size and transformation, the main issue being art budgeting, as multiple variants can stack up incredibly fast. So I am unsure if I want to have more than 2 iterations of her at the moment. But am not set on doing just two as I understand the appeal of breast expansion stuff.

Thanks for the response.

It isn't my intention to implement my ideas exactly like I wrote them. I just want to throw some ideas at you that you can use as your liking. Change them, add them or threw them away, it's your game after all.

For 3: I created such a long suggestion quest to make it feel like it's worth to spend just an amount of time/resources into that NPC. Creating different character pictures for one specific NPC is of course as you said something that came with a cost.

Also it's cool to read that you've already planned the backstory of her. Can't wait to exploring that further.

Is there a console command to give yourself more perk points? I'd like to pick up a couple of extras without boosting my level overmuch.

Fair point, I've got a similar aversion to pre MV era RPGM games, it's just down to what works for you and what doesn't, don't get me wrong full CG scenes in this game would rock but the Dev is a one man band, now if this game was bank rolled by a full size Japanese H game studio then that a different thing all together, i would expect full CG in that case, but in this case i'm cool without.

There are plenty of great full CG games on this site, western style, Hentai, 3DCG, honestly your spoiled for choice here.

Why yes, there are a number of console commands, including one that can award you more perk points. I have a post here that includes various console commands that work in MGD. But to save you time since you are searching for a specific variable, this is what you want:
