No need to apologize, that's perfectly fine. On that note, bugs have been reported and a fix/update has been released. Not sure if it has addressed all of them, but this update does have fixes for the Sea Slug Girl.

No real need for a lengthy changelog as it is just miscellaneous fixes to the new enemy.
I hope that this works and corrects the issue you encountered,

There have been several new releases, some without changelogs and some with changelogs. Current latest release as the time this was posted is 19.12.12.3. Fortunately, it, along with 19.12.12.2, does contain a changelog, so some of changes can be viewed.
I do hope that this helps and includes fixes to the error you encountered,
Kornuptiko.
I do not use mods, so I can not really make recommendations on their contents first hand. But I would recommend mods that have been updated to work with the latest system changes, so Beach Party and Bop It, which I have linked in this post, Waifupocalypse which was updated and can be found

and finally, the recently updated Ilveria mod which should now work with current versions of MGD.
No download link for it at the moment, but I'll attach a zip for Ilveria to this post. The changelog for Ilveria is just a compatibility update for 21.6 and some of her more tempting moves have been placed into the combat event system rather than how they used to function.
As for starting skills, that largely depends on what type of build or archetype you're trying to use or create. If you're going for Willpower or some type of mage build, the Arouse spell is a great starting decision. For easier early game grind against a boss during the Nectar Delivery side quest, Nicci, breast focused moves would be a wise investment and Power, Technique, and Allure should each have moves that specifically target said body part.
Be warned however that while Suckle would be a powerful attack against her, she does lactate an aphrodisiac laced nectar and will... encourage you to nurse from her should you use Suckle on her, turning the encounter into a DPS race unless you can break free.
For current meta, Willpower and Technique are the generally strongest and most useful stats due to sheer coverage and various checks they can handle. As for building your character, you are better off picking a stat or two to be your primary and building them up some before diversifying if you want a more balanced character.
However, once the rest of v22 is complete, that is the rest of the additions to the Town at this time and the implementation of the Day/Night system, v23 will be focused on balance changes and can invalidate much of this advice depending on how much the system is changed.
Yes, there are "counter" skills in a way, such as Facefuck that can be used when an enemy uses the Blowjob stance on you or Pussy Worship that can be used against an enemy using the Face Sitting stance. So those do allow you to take advantage of an enemy's stance and attack them through it, but it is a double-edged sword at best since it will damage you as well. Additionally, some enemies may have low sensitivity and not receive much damage from such skills, in which case you'd be better off trying to escape the stance or trying to use the Distract or Teleport skill to escape if your stats do not allow you to do so.
A better way to view the NPCs in terms of being skill vendors would be Elena focuses on standard and heroic skills that use Power or Technique, Elly teaches magic that's fueled by Willpower, Amber bestows more roguish skills focused around using tools that depend on Technique, Vivian is the instructor for seduction and sensual skills powered by Allure, and Lillian is the source of Holy skills and relics that either are not affected by anything or increase in efficacy by your Virility, the chief deity is a Goddess of Fertility after all.
I do hope that you find this useful,
TFM.
Additionally, I hope that everyone interested in modding MGD also derive some use from some of the contents of this post.
