Attack her a bunch of times till she's defeated. If that doesn't work leave and grind out a few level ups and then come back and try again.

If anyone can answer this, it'd be greatly appreciated. I was checking the wiki and saw that Elly has a nude sprite, and unlike Amber's, it's not listed as spoilers. If a scene with this sprite does exist, where is it? I've gone through all three of her experiments, I did her/Venefica's questline, and I haven't seen it so far.

Not used. Amber also has a nude version in the files.

What build do you guys think is the "best" or most fun? Seems like strength is really good because it easily escapes stances and keeps enemies in them.
I wrote it b4 but I still think the same.

The best build is to build your sexuality. If you need help figuring out your own sexuality, I don't know what to say. If you need help figuring out how to express your sexuality in the game that sounds like a fun convo.

How detrimental is taking Kotone's hypno lover perk? I like her story and character but the fetish debuffs across the board look very off-putting to take.

If you want it, then go get it. 10 levels honestly isn't that much. Anyway, high fetish levels will never make the game unplayable.
What do you mean exactly when you say high fetish levels will never make the game unplayable? Taking 10% increased multiplier to damage from all sources that can't be removed/off-set sounds like it makes the game harder overall. Does her "never lose a turn to trances" buff make it more viable to take?

He means it's not gonna make any fights unwinnable. There's no level cap afaik so at worst you'll have to gain a level or two to make up for it if its actually detrimental (it's a net gain up to around 500 arousal). Luckily the nightmare labyrinth and mimics exist so getting levels is trivial.
As for the trance thing, trance itself is pretty rare, for now anyway. I think only tengu, tengu harpies, Mizuko, and Sofia use it in combat. I'm pretty sure it doesn't help at all outside combat or could even make it easier to fall prey to such tactics like the lumiren event.

This is just like monstergirlquest but less femdom focused. While the CGs might not be as numerous you still get at least 1 stance+expressions per girl and with the text descriptions being incredibly detailed you can basically create the cgs in your head in great detail. Incredibly time consuming, +1

There are similarities, but I don't like the comparison.

For one thing, Monster Girl Dreams gives you the freedom of revisiting girls you want.
Most importantly, there's no actual plot in Monster Girl Dreams.

Like... it's just a series of events with no real thematic throughline, or past events tying into future events. Hell the characters are all incredibly one note and only exist within the context of their one narrative event. A good portion of VERY important characters being completely optional.

On the plus side, at least the protagonist is an adult, and combat is sex battles so it's directly 1,000% more erotic than MGQ.

Being a switch game tho is pretty neutral. Kinda like how adding a FeMC option would lower the amount of content written for both genders, adding in more varied sexual proclivities lowers the amount of content written for any particular sexuality. If you care very little for certain sexual acts, their inclusion to broaden the market appeal would disappoint when waiting for new updates.

Like... I know I was quite disappointed in the Voltins for instance. City still hasn't had a monster girl I like yet.

I guess you are right, the story is less important and much "lower stakes" than in mgq, but my experience with this one is as close as it gets to my initial experience with hgames 6 years ago which was mgq.

Personally, I think the game is closest to Desire Dungeon.

A game where you go into a dungeon and go forward while random events happen.
Switch game sexually with an emphasis on the maledom as the "true" route. Most of the romance scenes in the game being maledom. Loss scenes usually not increasing affection.

Basically no plot.

Guess you could say it's a mix at the end of the day, cause Desire Dungeon only had one locale.

===

Btw, what I said was basically no plot.
That is not the same as lower stakes.

I've played a ton of low stakes games with really nice thematic throughlines and concepts that made me invested in the narrative. Having stakes and having a good plot aren't the same.

Is "Enduring Body", the Power perk that reduces crit chance of attacks on you by 10%, supposed to have CritChanceBoostSelf +10 in its .json file? The _ListOfPerkTypes documentation says CritChanceBoostSelf "alters the chance to crit the OWNER of the perk. (higher more damage)".

Would you say having a theme is necessary for a good plot? Lots of stories out there just feels like a series of events.

Hmm... that's a good point. I think it helps, but it's not necessary.
As a former fiction writer I would say that a theme is not necessary for a good plot, BUT it helps pull a plot together, in both the author's and readers' (players') minds.
Yeah what you said.
