You can win the Sex Battles through only Talk and Begging.
That basically renders the whole Action Gauge pointless though.

Also reminder that right now we only have the two tutorial girls, AKA the easiest girls in the whole game, so I wouldn't necessarily count on being able to keep pulling a on all the girls going in. Not without buffing yourself in some way, probably.
And I disagree with your framing on canonicity. Just because the story ends when you gameover doesn't mean that's the "incorrect" path. That's just an ending and both people wind up happy either way.
Never said anything about canonicity. Just said that you won't be able to get all to the end and finish the story if you're a pushover.

But gameplay wise, due to the way battles end, and with how combat is structured, it feels like he won't be able to do some things from the encyclopedia.

Like what are the full sub girls gonna even do like Umi Osho? What about the sleeping girl Dormouse? She literally can't act, only tempt. How's he gonna do mating press/missionary poses like he gave Holstaur? Like what's the girl gonna do on her turn?
I never said there weren't?

I'm saying I'm curious what route he's gonna take.
Sure as heck didn't read that way. Seemed to me like you were doubting how full subs would even work.

Anyways it's not realistic for KC to get every single girl into the game and I think he knows that better than anyone, so the problematic ones would obviously just get veto'd. And temptation is already an established mechanic, so a girl whose fight is nothing but that is totally doable.

I wonder if the monster girl island thread is like this.
just lots of complaining about the game being abandoned and there being so much potential, and then some actual discussion about the game. Also lots of crapping on the creator for the direction he decided to go/is going, and things he had done in the past.

There's wider discrepancies between individual monster girls of the same race, than those among the stereotypes between races. Feasibly, you could find fully submissive and masochistic hellhounds in the setting, as well as fully dominant and sadistic umi oshos. That said, KC would probably prefer to lean on the stereotypes (up to a point), in the game.

That's what I like about the setting. Like the encyclopedia is written from the perspective of a character called Wandering Scholar, and it specifically says that "his own biases and tendency toward hyperbole do sometimes affect his writing, making some monsters seem more threatening or deviant than they actually are, or making extreme behavior seem like the norm or equally applicable to the entirety of a particular monster race."

It's also the biases of the monster girls he co-authors with and interviews that make it into the text, like Saphirette, a Dark Matter MG, author of World Guide II, who was not shy about her biases. The Wandering Scholar's biases did not make it into World Guide III, instead we were bombarded with the Sabbath's biases, as it was authored by Runya, a baphomet.

I think I once read somewhere that there were very rare cases of individual monster girls that, even after Lilith came into power, still enjoyed killing humans, and that there was discord and debate among the Sabbath about what to do about them... I tried to search the source of that, but couldn't find it.

can some tell me what happened to the wiki it keeps saying permission error
Huh, I have no idea. Looks like a problem with the wiki site itself. In the meantime, I recommend using the Monster Girls Redux forum. It has all the translations and plenty of other content, such as tweets and articles.
If you're referring to the MGE wiki as I suspect you are, Miraheze took it down. From what I know, the loli content finally broke the camel's back or something, despite the fact it's already been around for however long now.

(yeah, double post, I know, but I figure this is important enough to warrant giving a notification about it instead of editing a message that's already about two days old)
New MGE wiki is up, apparently. . It was only just created so much of the images and such aren't there yet, but it should have most if not all of the text-based content already.

Thank you Sonus, I was really upset when I heard we would be possibly losing years and years worth of monster girl content.

Thank you so much for sharing the link to the new wiki. I'm pleased to see the fandom works this quickly but I really wish it didn't have to, this censorshit is out of control.

KC's the designer of MGERPG.

The other games were fans of the MGE setting who wanted to make games based on it.

This is actually how KC likes people interacting with the community. Monster Girl Encyclopedia is basically a world and framework that fanworks use as a base. So the fanworks are "the content" while the encyclopedia is a shared setting that fans can enjoy. It's why KC gets so upset when people use his framework to create grimdark or NTR shit.

KC saw the eroge landscape and was disappointed with how monster girls were done.
Very little romance.
Very little emotional connection.

So he rolled up his sleeves and said, "fine I'll do it myself."

I think since he has such a passion for his perception of monster girls that he wanted to make a direct difference. That being said, his "vision" for monster girls is literally all over the place. It's ... everything.

Every fetish under the Pure Love umbrella cept NTR and NTR related stuff like swinging.

Most monstergirl stuff I have seen outside is just
>You get snuffed (Most popular for some reason)
>You get cucked
>You just have sex and move on

snuffed = killed? Ya I dont like it too and its a stupid concept...like what will they do when all men die lol.
That really depends on the world's setting. Also, I don't think the more powerful succubi in MGE really need men to survive, there's always other ways. Hell, some of the first lilim might be a thousand years old and without a husband.
Besides MGE, there are other settings where succubi don't really need men for anything and just like to use them for amusement. In some settings, they do need to feed, but have access to essentially infinite populated worlds and dimensions.
It really depends on the setting.

I mean most "murderer succubi" stuff(Which is what the other person is talking about) I've seen tends to frame it as they don't actually need to kill the guys but do it because they consider Human life to be so inferior to theirs that it's no different from stepping on an ant.

That is true to an unfortunate degree, especially in stories dealing with true "monstergirls" (Lamia, slimes etc.)
As far as Succubi, while there are alot of dark works featuring them, they are such a "mainstream" race within Otaku culture that there are actually quite a few commercial games featuring them in lovey-dovey ways, unfortunately however, many of these games remain untranslated. So you gotta buckle up and use Textractor if you wanna enjoy them...

We recently got Kimaten 1 and 2, which while being dark in terms of the scenario, are real vanilla and sweet in terms of the H, and Anne is a good girl. Also Argonauts recently released their 3 games featuring Succubi, one of which has been translated.

There's alot of other examples but my point generally is: If you are talking about the more common mythical races (Vampires, Ghostgals, Oni, Succubi etc etc) there's actually a pretty wide range of games featuring them in pure love (or at the very least, RomCom) scenarios... Just not much in the Doujin scene unfortunately.

If you want the real "monstergirl experience" with all the various races on full display, free from disgusting elements, MGE is really one of only a small handful of settings/works(?) which do this.
