Redamz posted this on the monster girl island page thingy on itch io. 2024 Update: Plans have changed a lot since then, but development is steady for the rest of the story. MGI Prologue will receive one last update in the upcoming years after all the extra content that was developed for it is polished, but in the immediate future the story will continue in a new game made in Unreal Engine with way higher quality models, much better graphics and, I hope, way better writing and animation quality as well. I won't spoil anything for now, I just want to give people some peace of mind. This upcoming game won't be full on hentai like MGI, am focusing more on what I enjoy the most which is the girl dating part and story writing, I feel like H scenes feel forced a lot of the time, but regardless, this new game will still not be censored on PC versions at least. Thanks to everyone that liked my work. I hope you find something to enjoy on what's to come as well

LOL! That is a wild thing to say.
There just isn't any valid responses that won't get him lit up like a christmas tree at this point and he needs to just accept that. Red has far to many receipts of flip flopping and outright ghosting the community. And as this new receipt is added I find myself once again thinking "what the hell is this response?!" lol.
-Really Red? You apparently didn't want to do something like shift to an updated version of Unity but you're willing to jump ship entirely for MGIP to UE? Sure buddy!

Having to read through the Itch comments of pure copium was almost sad that people are still refusing to use the gift of critical thought us as human beings are blessed with. It's moments like this, where I thank god for F95 and the community here. I'm downloading anything related to MGI for free. I often see releases on F95 and if I see steam links, I'll still go purchase it on steam if I enjoyed the game just to support. That will never be the case for Red after the things he's said and done, at least in regards to MGIP.

For me this sounds plausible because changing from unity to unreal was very VERY much work for me even for the little content which was actually there. On the other side things has gotten much easier to handle since redamz made MGI, like tools, tutorials and help forums. But given his current track record it seems very unlikely that he ist doing the MGI ending. Best explanation I can think of is that he would like to kickstart the marketing machine by building hype for his unreal project by giving the fans what they would like to hear.

I can't agree with it being plausible when talking about Red because he personally hasn't stated why he's changing. My focus wasn't on the plausibility of the engine change, it was in regards to his complaint about development time which jumping engines can increase and working across multiple certainly does. Besides, he's not porting or moving content, he's claiming to be working in both engines on two separate games...factually extending development time... Red claiming he's polishing MGIP (Unity) developing a similar product to MGIP with updated models, animations, story (UE) while equally doing side stories (Ren'py) is like... what?! I believe the saying is 'biting off more than one can chew'. This same person that gave his reason for dropping MGIP on the precipice of another update and ghosting his community was because 'Development was taking too long' is now going to spread the workload across three engines?
If I were to give my opinion on the engine swap, I'd agree that this is likely PR to placate 'fans' (which he stated "I just want to give people some peace of mind.") and trying to get hype going for whatever (and whenever) this phantom UE project that he's somehow been working on yet has zip to show anyone, is in the pipe. What is plausible to me however is now that Unity isn't free, he decided not to pay for it and just take the % hit UE will take from revenue, which is still irrelevant because his credibility is mud and people want to see proof of work being done. The man said years with an S in regards to polishing all of MGIP before releasing one last update which we all know is just the unreleased chapter... Talking about what he's doing amounts to nothing more than hollow, empty, vapid, meaningless words. He said this on Itch! Lol. Didn't update about the continued development of MGIP on his discord, didn't do it on steam, didn't even bother to say that to people on F95 after dropping in to claim don't buy the scam one and in many cases just saying he was still working on it was enough for some people, yet he didn't do that. I don't personally care what Red has to say, only what he has to show. Show something or stay quiet as far as I'm concerned.
I just think he enjoys the fact that he's scammed people and is having fun trolling.
