I don't know if I should laugh or get pissed off, cause you did punk my ass for feeling bad for you. When your MGW 0.2.2c2 AKA proper demo got leaked, I did put my money where my mouth was and shilled 50 euros on your ass. But what I do find when I check this place again? even bigger fucking shit show from the last time.

So I wonder from creative to creative, what word "passion" even means to you when you just throw it around? What fucking "passion" is even when some random troll makes you drop it? Cause there is no fucker or fuckers or who ever in the fuck would make me stop doing what I have "passion" for, but you did. Years of hard work just scrapped, especially when you finish your demo which was perfect proof of concept. A literal gem in pile of shit which are most porn game projects.

I think it wasn't the leaked demo, which should just be the straw which broke the camels back. Doing something like game developement over years with setbacks after setbacks can lead to resenting your own project especially if you don't get the results you hoped for. Also I think most people just use passion as a phrase, because gamedev is much more discipline than motivation or even passion. I can truely understand you frustration in lost money but I think its neither malice nor a short tempered decision of dreamdemon. His texts read much like someone who quit quite some while ago but kept going until he couldn't anymore.

There is no chance in fighting the priates, because if EA gets their shit leaked even before launch which chance could I have? I think someone who tries to get your game for free never where interested in paying anyways so not much is lost there but maybe they get exited enough to buy it later or tell others about it who might give a little money. In the end it's his decision, maybe he already works on another thing he kept thinking about and is now able to do without pressure.

I truely hope the best for him.

I think the biggest dissapointment for him was that you stopped developing at all, supporting you with money was just another factor i believe. So as a big fan I can feel the frustrations from both sides and hope you do very well in what you are doing now. I am still open for a little dev talk if you'd like too ;;; )

I noticed some oddities in the builds that were posted last, those with scenes of the characters Aya and Сle.

Unlike the previous builds, the heating of the video card has increased significantly, maybe someone even installed a miner in those builds (alas, I don't know how to check, but the antivirus seems to be silent).

Actually, the oddity is that applications practically ignore the "global settings" from Nvidia, for example, for maximum FPS, as a result, the video card heats up and the fans make noise. But if you make separate settings for each application in the Nvidia settings, the frame limitation starts to work more correctly, and the temperature of the video card and the noise from the fans are dramatically reduced. At the same time, the load on the CPU is noticeably lower than on the video card. According to my personal experience, previous builds put more load on the processor.

I was going to go into a diatribe about why this failed but considering that what has been said and what needed to be said has long since been said. But damn this is the most "you shot yourself in the foot" moment I've ever seen. A great project ruined by the creator's own lack of self esteem.

Ok so maybe I worded it wrong but at the same time... There's no real use for me crying over spilled milk that dried almost a year ago in a house I almost never visit. And considering that everyone has said everything I wanted to say, there's no real point in playing internet historian.

As a fellow artist, all the power to you and I hope you find happiness and what not. But atp it's better if you left this site as a forgotten memory.

The fact of the matter is that some places aren't worth sticking around in. And if said bullying victim keeps making frequent appearances behind the school dumpster around the same time the bullies hang out despite no longer having business being there, I can only give so much empathy let alone sympathy before I question if you're a masochist, have a death wish, or really really want to pitied by everyone around you.

And considering that a lot of the people who have responded on this thread more often than not either coated their words in honey or were genuinely patient albeit slightly pissed, judging the overall tone of 95% of your messages, And how you've responded to me, I'm going to have to assume that you want pity. Which if that's the case, I really shouldn't have entertained you but here we are.

So my closing words are as follows: For every sad case of an unfortunate victim pushed over the edge, there's an Elliot Rodger or a Columbine shooter. Some people just really deserve apathy and nothing more. And I don't see the point in coddling or bashing you.

If you're upset about the project's shutdown, then your target should be those who maliciously sabotaged it.
