In Part 2, how in the world do you beat Undine on Hard? So far most battles on that difficulty tend to be puzzle-like with the occasional damage race but this is the first time I'm completely stumped. Her damage output is so high, I just can't keep enough SP to heal and use spirits. And considering her HP, damage race doesn't seem to be an option either.

Edit: and of course I manage to do it immediately after posting that :KEK:
Turns out it was, in fact, a damage race.

I don't really get the hype for the game. The main character is offensively stupid, the plot is incredibly predictable, although the smaller excursions have some good moments.
The combat is better than standard rpgmaker trash, but the puzzle-like approach gets ruined by normal being way too easy and hard having enemies that boild down entirely to chance.
What is great are the enemy designs, even if all the normal female faces kinda ruin some of them.

Alice is the only saving grace of the game. I really hope the game makes defeating her a bad end and sparing/not fighting her lead into fighting the god together.
If Alice is out of the game, I'm turning it off.

Edit: I still dislike the MC, but his relationship with Alice is a good core for the story. Individual character moments are great, even if the overall story is way too predictable

I fucking despise the combat. Almost every enemy towards the end of chapter 2 hassom fucking status effect attack that has a low chance of hitting, but when it does it's instant loss. Absolutely unbearable. Any fun i had with the combat has been thrown out the window because out of 10 attempts at the boss I'm at, I lost 8 without any fault of my own, she just hit a trance through sylph and the fight was over.

Complete garbage, ruins the combat.

I am so disappointed that the combat is almost entirely hoping for good rng. It ruins so much of what is otherwise a really solid game

Yes, the final battle of Part 2 is absolute rng-fest. Tamamo was no slouch herself in that domain, I had to reload that fight at least 20 times to avoid being rng-screwed. Though I suspect it's because I'm playing on Hard while the battles were clearly balanced around Normal. I'm certainly not going to bother with Hell, I'll just go straight to Paradox after finishing Part 3.

About Luka, I personally like him on the grounds he's an actual character and not just a rape-bait, which isn't the case in most of the copycat games MGQ spawned. In general most recurring characters are more than what they initially appear, this is definitely a plus in my book.
I'm quite fond of

The battles at the end of chapter 2 weren't really balanced at all from my experince.
normal is laughably easy while hard is just pure rng.

The characters in general are great, i agree with that. Many of the "sidequests" have amazing character moments that the main story rarely reaches outside of Alice and Luka.
Luka is fine as a character, i like his backstory (at least what was revealed so far), and his relationship with Alice is the thing that has kept me playing through the latter half of chapter 2. (And kinda the beginning of 3. I am not going to bed with

Maybe the main story will get more interesting in chapter 3. I'm very skeptical of the character you mentioned. Not a big fan of sci-fi tech in fantasy settings, but who knows, maybe they'll use it well, and she is the one character I'm not immediately certain what her role is gonna be so that's a plus.

I had hopes with the combat in chapter 3.

I liked the way you had to switch between stances now.
It looked like you needed to be active and adapt.
Now an enemy has a telegraphed attack that is essentially an instant loss, which can be blocked by one stance, but also powers up her other attack on the same telegraph and you need a different stance to reduce the damage (by dodge chance btw, because fuck this game). If they telegraph they might use the instant loss you have to switch to the stance that prevents that, but if the enemy decides to use her powered up normal attack which you now have no chance to dodge for, you lose 2/3 of your health.
So there is a high probability you just lose.

I have given up on the combat, and will be continuing breezing through everything on normal, which is such a fucking shame.

Dude, you are really try harding MGQ ? :D
The only thing 99% of the player ( and the dev ) do is to play in normal and fap xD
If you want an hard game, maybe try mgq paradox, you have many options of difficult

Maybe my expectations were skewed because people kept hyping this game up to me as so incredibly amazing. I've had multiple people tell me that this is the game that made them realize porn games can be good games.
And the game delivered on gameplay for the first chapter and the first half of the second. So when it went from a pretty good game with good story and porn to a horrible game with good story and porn, I was pretty disappointed.

Yes, you're expectation were really high. :/ It's not a really good game. But I think the first time we play it, we really feel that this game had potential. But the part 1 and 3 fight were really dispointing .
Maybe he is the best Visual novel ( a genre that i hate except MGQ ) but there is tons of game better than this.
Like MGQ paradox, succubus prison, Karryn's prison, excessm's games, game from 62 studio ( lust grimm ... ), game from circle-tekua ( lilith in nightmare ). And the porn in MGQ is ... random ? Some character are perfect, but 80% are horrible. In succubus prison, 62 studio or circle-tekua's games, 100% character are fapable.
There is better porn game than MGQ, by far, in the femdom genre ofc.

What I love about the game and it's porn is the character/enemy desing. it has gotten a lot more dull with time, and the designs in chapter 3 have been hit or miss, but almost every enemy has some unique aspect and attacks/rapes that make them stand out to some degree.

There is better porn game than MGQ, by far, in the femdom genre ofc.
I'm being too harsh on the game. I usually don't enjoy playing a sub, maledom or femdom, especially if they are in a decent story so I get attached to them. There's very few games like that that have kept me playing anyway. The fact that this is like my fourth evening playing the game speaks volumes.

@AHentailurker
I just remembered, if you like an hard match, you can fight a doppelganker Luka in the "extra" screen. There is a little button below, if you click on it you will go on a alternative scenario before the end of part 2. It's a good fight ;) You should try...

Before I overwrite any saves, is there a way to replay post-final fight rape scenes?
Or do I have to keep a save around as a gallery?
