5 - Refights... I tried, sincerely, but I hit some walls. The biggest one is items. How do I program this so that after the fight you keep the items you used? Experience, how do keep it the same in this mock battle? I thought about unlocking the scene if you defeated the monster girl, but I thought it would be too easy and basically remove the game over rape of this game. I did it for bosses because you'd only have one chance to fight them, so it was fair, but when I think that there are events that the monster girls won't be able to be seen anymore after the quest, like the mansion and lily's prison, I begin to think it should be batter to just unlock it after the battle. I don't know, I may make a poll to see what the community thinks about it.
Thanks for the response! And totally get where you're coming from and get all your points!

On refights, I know some games have a room that you can enter and then can't leave where all the refights are contained. So a player would just make a separate save in that room and have their main file to continue the game. I'm just spouting things I've seen and have no idea how easy/hard it is on the technical side of things, so take that with a grain of salt.

When I execute the uh executable it tells me that I need RPG Maker VX ACE installed.
Is that intended? I just unpacked the files in one folder.

yup, this game is made with that version of RPG Maker which means you need that version installed for the game to get the material data that the developer use because this game is not made with entirely custom assets.

here's the link:

hope this solves your issue

just finished the western region man i didn't expect for Stealth Changing Line drawn moster girls to appear and i love this artist. aside from the bugs and placeholders to fix and add, i hope you can also add a save screen before the version end screen so that i don't have to fight the boss again which is kinda tedious but with the time of development that it takes to develop the next version i can tolerate it. anyways great update keep up the good work UnkDev (y)(y)

I just wrote a review from my experience so far. I hope this project goes well :)
Well, I agree to disagree here. Just because I altered a few things, the key events are still there, things may not happen exactly like the original VN but I don't think I went away from the path enough to stop calling it a remake. I don't really think this qualifies as a reboot either. Have you heard of Death Note? There are many iterations and versions of it, but the most famous is the anime, there is also the Dorama, or live-action (not to be confused with that mess made by Netflix, I mean the Japanese 11 episode live-action dorama). The Dorama did what I did here, got the story, and made it better, follow the same key events, with outcomes, but made more believable, and more interesting, how the story got there. I don't like the ending of the anime, but the same ending was incredibly good at the dorama, with everything making sense. That's more or less what I want to do here, and I still think the term "Remake" applies to it.

Considering you gave 5 stars, I assume you like the game, and I'm glad to see that. Thanks for the review.

Indeed, the game so far is excellent I just pointed out that perhaps it is not quite a remake since many things does not happen as they did in the original. Like for example Luka using omega blaze during the Nanabi fight, a skill that he should not be able to use since it is not an angel technique.
However if the end result is about the same I guess it is alright.

okay guys.. i really need your help with the puzzle in the southern sea temple. how do i solve this? i tried to find a solution in searching on every wall (may be something hidden), every stone, every crystal and so on, talked to people in the game and even searched this thread for a possible solution but found absolutely no clue.
there are puzzle solver who can help you solve 3x3-, 4x4-, 5x5-, 6x6 and circular puzzles, but i had no luck with this one...
i´m totally stuck and extremely frustrated, because i spent almost 6h with absolutely no luck...

EDIT:

i´m such an idiot! after taking this puzzle so damn serious, and after taking a deeeeeeeep breath and break i just realized that you should take a very close look at the colours.. that´s all.. i just was totally "color-blind" literally xDDDD

Ok, so I played this up to after the fight with Alma. So far... Its pretty good. This Fan remake to some degree. Honestly, I was thinking about just starting a new game of MGQ while playing this.

The combat is bland almost like any other rpg. I really liked MGQ's combat system with the sp and the game was a challenge and hard mode required some luck. This fan made one is more or less just long battles and you require a lot of items.

But I really liked how the civilians joined in my party to fight the Harpy Queen. And I like how the battle with Alma was done. The story is also more detailed which I have questions about.

This more detailed story was just made up? Or perhaps you found a source to use? Perhaps you took some of the story from the other MGQ games like paradox which I've never played.

The character art style has caught my eye. It is kind of odd seeing the art not in model with each other (throwing old art with new art). But I do like the new art on this (new to me, like I said, never played the other MGQ and have no idea if the dev for the fan remake drew it or not).

I think I"ll keep playing this only because the more detailed story got my attention. I'm looking forward to getting the wind spirt. Perhaps combat will feel more fun after that.

now i don´t have to get to horny jail and get a horny bonk, but i have to wait a looooong time to see this scene... *sniffs in horny*
