it's a game over trap, pay attention to hints on the Pyramid and you gonna avoid it. As I said the only mandatory scenes are Alice's ones.

There is a fine line between mechanics that add to the game but are difficult, and things that are annoying gameplay padding.

Ok, I'll take it into account.
For now, I'm not excited about the first scene of Alice, so I have completely skipped it without reading it. I guess I'll keep doing that as long as they're like this.
Otherwise the story is good and I like the gameplay. I guess even without having seen any sex scenes (I don't think I'm going to be interested in any, really) I'm going to like the game.

Oh, this game is famous for the saying "I came for the sex, stayed for the story". Though the consensual scenes... you may like them, they aren't really female domination, but Luka is still passive, so take that into account. You may want to refuse them at first and then save and only then talk with the girl to accept it, if you don't like the scene, you can just reload the game, if you accepted the first time and reload the game, you'd pretty much go back before the fight against the boss.

From what we had already talked about in the thread, I had already assumed that I was not really going to see any scenes, or very few. I'm interested in the game because of the story, whereas I already knew before I started that sex scenes aren't the kind that I like.
Just to be sure will the monsters that reward luka before the war have full sex with him after the war starts like the vampire girl?

You mean the same girls? Depends on the availability of the CGs, of course. some do have, others do not. And yes, before the Ilias War, all scenes are nonvaginal only, but during the war, vaginal scenes may happen.
Right now I have finished until Gnome, which is the entire first game (from 3). But I won't say I finished 1/3 because the third game is bigger than the first two, and I still think it was rushed, I'd say 1/4. The current estimated length would be 15 - 20 hours depending on how much you explore.

He's not though. I've seen much worse in terms of engines and I've also seen some absolutely amazing games that i was shocked to find out was RPGM. RPGM is easy access and comes prebuilt with enough assets that you make a game without adding any new assets. the problem arises when Devs are too lazy to Customize the UI and Gameplay elements or even to add assets. As a result, there are a metric ass-ton of shitting games using the RPGM engine, but the same happens a lot with other Easy access engines like Unreal, and renpy. It's not the engine's fault it's the Dev's.

totally agree with this , so tired of hearing " rpg maker is shit" when they don't understand how customizable it really is , there are rpg maker games out there that you wouldn't even know they were made with that engine if it wasn't for very few things like the outline of the window.
For the longest time ppl did the same thing for unity , an engine is just a box of tools to build something , it's up to the devs to use the tools in a creative way, just because 90% of the devs just don't even bother to change the main menu image doesn't mean it's the engine fault.
Is there any actual improvement to the game or is this remake's sole purpose to make you slog through RPGM--navigating the character in a story focused visual novel?

As it says in the OP, the are additions and changes made to the original story, this is not just a port or a 100% remake. But it still follows the same story, with the same key events, that may or may not play the same way, and the same overall structure.

I'm liking it, without any vore (I don't want to lose a fight, but just in case I've chosen the version without it).
For now the story is very good, although I have only seen the consensual sex scenes: I'm not a fan of rape and I'm going to avoid seeing those scenes.
I quite like that it's a classic type RPG.

From your first explanation I suspected that it was possible that, at least, I didn't dislike them: if they are consensual and without femdom or maledom, it can be posible that I can like them, or at least don't dislike them. For now, except for the Alice scenes (if they aren't femdom, they are really close to be), I haven't found any with femdom. Maybe the MC is a bit inactive, but I don't think that makes it femdom.
I can't say that I love them, but at least I can see them without problems.
In any case, I suppose it will be a small amount compared to the scenes with non-consensual sex (I cannot confirm it because I don't see these scenes)

Yes, non-consensual is the main theme of the game, after all, it was in the VN. Each monster girl you saw until now has at least one rape scene.

Well, for now see, I've only seen two scenes ("quest rewards"). I skip Alice's ones, I can't say I like them and I'd rather not see them.
