In graphics/pictures, find the lamia pictures like 80_lamias_st01.png. Should be an 02 and 03 there as well. Copy all 3 to the graphics/battlers folder.

People have been pretty great about not spoiling major stuff more or less, and a lot of it is useless without context from playing the game.
Luckily, I purposefully stopped playing Part 1 after my initial anger of the switch to RPGMaker subsided and I realized it'd be a pretty good game in the end once you ignored all the boring RPGM jank. And now I can slowly throw hours into part 1 and 2 while 3 gets translated.
I second this I don't open spoilers outside of the character art spoilers on reddit since i like looking at the art and 90% of it was to be expected since that stuff happened in part 3 of the og trilogy.

is there a bug in the 3.01 version for skill animations? the first time i cast skills the animation displays correctly but subsequent casts have no skill animations at all

And when you said translation you meant the translation from part 2+demo or the file for mtool ?

You have pixeldrain link, this one is the most basic without mtool or the translation file for mtool.
The mega link from uchihafabio with full game + translation + mtool + uncensor mod
My link from gofile with mtool, translation, save (save 16 for the big choice before the real start of part 3) a big team who can carry you most of the part 3 pretty easily if you don't forget to put the +50% attack gem inside the equipement slot, and 2 mod that give you the ability to auto recruit monster at the end of each fight without speaking with them and to have more than 99 of the same item. Both mod are inside the patch folder inside the game folder so you can delete them if you want.
