I have a question. I've messed around with gifts to a Sparrow girl, then loaded my save to see that her affection changed to new value from gifts, that I never gave her (including even earlier saves)
Is there a way to reset affection to 0 or make it so that it reverts to previous value if I load a save?
So you did recruit her? (with help of the mod?) is the name of the recruit location gold mine?
Yup, I did. Then I loaded the save and managed to do it without the mod too (but with some of the monster girl it take crazy amount of tries to do it, I think the smart thing to do is to wait until you get items and skills that raise recruit chances -
at least with some of them (edit: scratch that - just use recruit chance boosting items\skills at all times whenever possible and it will pay off because of the possibility of a long unlucky streak)
Not directly to see recruit chance because there is a formula that does it , you can see if they can be recurited by the green name in talk which blanks when recurited
which is 1/"Follower Denominator")*100% * Recruitment Rate * Affinity/100 = Final Chance
...
While the mod is good for just making it much much easier to sum it up most characters will join 100% if they have 100 affinity any 300% recruitment rate skill up in part 1 and 2 with only the most unlikely monsters not able and needing the combo of 300% skill and 200% ability( aka 4 and 5 need 400% total and 500% requirement rate at 100 affinity for sure join )
getting into part 3 characters can need the full 300% + 300% for a sure join(at least up the big decision point) likely gets harder from there to balance out the sealed jobs recruit up ability but haven’t looked at that myself so can’t say for sure
Thanks, that pretty interesting. By the way - where do you view the denominator of specific monster?
As far as I can tell so far, the more intersting chars might have a higher denominator, for example I've had a really hard time recruiting monster, called Luxury (in the Tartarus on Illias continent near Rostrum) and she has innate binding strike 30%, Makina skills access at all times as well as crazy resistances to most things (coming from
cheater doll race :d)
I haven't even finished Ilias continet and cannot tell how well it scales into the late game, but it's one of the strongest chars I've set my eyes on so far, considering some of the item\other character combinations you could do e.g. party her with someone who triggers predation from bind ailment, which if I understand correctly she can set up from aoe skills, including Makina, which seem very strong even on their own
