I was doing a bit of housekeeping, fixing some bugs, and inserting a convo for Lin post ending (I initially wrote it for Day 113, but it ended up throwing the mood of the scene). The intention was for the Path of Light and Path of Fire endings to gently let her down, telling her you've found true love.
Of course, I should have known Lin would find a way to turn that around. She didn't go from non-speaking extra to having her own ending without Snowdrop-level scene stealing ability. Hopefully up on the development branch today.
Okay, it's up.
To trigger, make sure you have latest (1.0.8), and that you're on a End of Game Save that has completed Lin's questline, and is on the Path of Fire. Go talk to her in the gym to kick it off, then Katie will Facial you in the morning.

Don't know why, but Lin strikes me a a closet Dominatrix. Classic movie line... "It's quiet... TOO quiet..."

This is one that I'm actually interested in playing. But, it is still and 'adult game' with sex scenes. Some of which I'd like to be able to 'revisit' and not just be stuck with a 'one and done' sort of thing.
Most times I do see about getting games and specifically only ones that have a gallery unlock, but that's not because I'm looking for porn, but because tags can be extremely misleading. If someone has a specific fetish, like anal, and a 13GB game has an anal tag which turns out to be one scene and it's only a finger, it's pretty annoying.
Yes, there's a replay system, and you can watch any image you've seen, and replay all the sex-scenes.
No, I don't have a full set of save files. Maybe someone else can help.

hope this is gonna get another update with the new content soon, it'd be nice to play through it untill i can pick it up on steam.
So, the game is complete (it was done when I launched it on Steam, it wasn't early access).
I've been doing a small Post Game update, which is currently sitting on the Development branch; it's all content that's designed for exploring after the game ends (loading end of game save, and continuing from day 115); additional titter posts, facial messages, and a couple of events.
Lin, as she's prone to do, stole the show and added a new questline for people who finished the Path of Fire while also romancing Lin.
I'll push that to the Default branch in time for the XMas sale, and also update the build here (and tag it as Complete)... hopefully the game being on sale might convince a few pirates to come support, so I can afford to keep making games
On the development branch of Morningstar you'll also find another little surprise; the opening days of my next game. Still in tech-demo state, but I wanted to share it with people as I make it, so it'll sit there until Wings of Empire officially launches into Early Access, in 6 months or so.
For those curious, Wings of Empire is a Space Opera set in a world where the Roman Empire never fell, and mankind's made its way to the stars.
MC plays as an ex-Centurion in the Roman Legions, forced to retire after a bad injury. He's back for a second career as a fighter pilot, this time as a freshly minted officer onboard the INS Aquila.
It's a gritty space opera inspired by scifi authors like David Weber, Elizabeth Moon, David Drake, CJ Cherryh and Eric Flint; a world of heroes, shadowy politics, fleets meeting in combat and gorgeous girls to romance.

so basically one of the old paradox vids where a civ is taken from sticks and stones to interstellar empire? i'm failing to remember the exact game name that used this theme back in the early 2000's
Not really, in that the focus of the game isn't on that; it just informs the world-building. The actual game takes place over a relatively compressed timeline, months and years, not centuries or millennia.
