i read there is a game +
but how do you start that
i had 3 paths now, but can't really see a NG+ option
You load the end of game save, and it lets you continue from day 115.
There's some content (talking to Lin in the gym) on the Path of Light, but most of the content can be found on a Path of Fire ending where you've completed the Snowdrop and Lin storylines.

Well, Paradise Lust (and Sinners Landing) are Flexible Media games, so those aren't just me. I'm a producer and programmer there, but there's a full team.

Droid Productions is just me (Love of Magic, Morningstar and now Wings of Empire). If you want to check out Wings of Empire, it's on the Development branch of Morningstar on Steam.

You can also see more here (and give it a wishlist if you can :D) :

Thanks Droid that did it. I'm embarrassed I missed that.

Any advise on the animations I mentioned. I waited several seconds tween clicks to ensure I was not advancing the scenes too fast?

Not quite sure what's happening; they should just play like normal. I guess a really slow PC might do it, but it's not like this is a very demanding game.

I have found an error, but idk if it's already known or not:
- Katja's introduction (2nd meeting) she tells me, that I am the <FIGHT_NAME>. Probably the name of the variable instead of the var's content.

Next one is just a confusing image:
- I wanted to go back in the date to trigger an event I missed. But your calendar is very confusing. Day 17 is on the 10th Feb and Day 10 is on the 3rd and so on... It is easy to click on the wrong day, bc each day has 2 numbers/dates, that are printed in opposite corners of the card. It may probably be less confusing if you just print Feb. 1/DAY 8 at the top or bottom of that day's card.

I should probably add, that I got that message on the 15th day. When I reloaded back to the 10th day and got the introduction, She didn't add the <FIGHT_NAME> var to my name. Probably bc the var is introduced on day 14.

Sounds like you managed to reach her convo before the variable is set. If you've got a sae close to it I'd love a screenshot.

Are you the one maintaining your Wiki? There are also some minor errors:
- Katja route + Saoe route says "Day 15-16: Talk to her about your upcoming fight" ... Day 16 is a filler without possible actions. So you can only access these events on Day 15.
- Saoe route: Day 10+: Introduction to Saoe ... You can only see her at night time and there are fix events on the nights of Day 10, 11, 12 and 14. On Day 15 there is already the next Saoe-event. So you only have Day 13 for the intro.

No, it's fan-maintained. Feel free to give it an edit if you find stuff :)

Feels like the DeNile code is different from regular dialogue. I cannot select my choices neither with numbers on my keyboard nor my touchscreen, only clicking them with a pointing device works.

This was actually really good, great themes and an engaging narrative.
The blend of Judaeo-Christian mythology and an almost Nietzschean view of mankind worked really well together. This reminds me vaguely of the original Halo trilogy in that it has a touch of a Homeric Epic about it.
This story is more than pulp fantasy, it feels like something a modern Oswald Spengler might have come up with were he to make a visual novel, it treads the waters of a modern mythological epic.

Fortunately, at the last hour, there were always a few soldiers to save Civilization.
I particularly liked the conversation with Chloe right at the end; the contrast of the utterly nihilistic worldview of how thousands dead don't really matter because thousands are born every minute, but at the same time the life of individuals have infinite meaning and how we are shaped, for good or ill, by our struggles.

Not sure either Droid, this the same computer that I played all three books of LOM with no issues. However I have noticed a pause/freeze once in a while were the mouse pauses - not just in your game. It's entirely possible that this lag/pause is causing me to click past the animations. I finished Path of Light route today, and will start Path of Fire later this week so I'll pay attention to my clicks to see if I have the same issue with that path. If I do I'll let your know - for now let's leave it as my system issue. :)

Got a question as maybe I am not doing something correctly. I am in the later stages of the game and it still seems like my character is way way overwhelmed in the fights. I have upgraded my attacks so most are at level five though some are still maybe 4. In the big battles in the tunnel I finally found a breeder and he had like 7000 hit points. I am still at a lousy 300-400. I am hitting him with my level five attacks left and right and IF I am lucky I do double digit damage. He starts hitting me at some point and doing triple digit damage. One would expect since I have worked to level the character up as much as possible I would be in a better position than that.

So my question is why is my character still that weak? Seems like I should be hitting them harder and have higher hit points at this point in the game. Am I missing something?

I'll be honest, during the breeder fight I think I went at it for like 15-20 minutes and he still had over 500 points. I just quit. The combat system is not that fun (sorry but it does gettting boring after a bit) and that fight was literally going to take me an hour at the rate I was going. Just seems I should have a better time ending these fights a little sooner. Not trying to be a jerk just more constructive critisim as it still seems the game is more one-sided against the player and it takes the fun out of it. Because I do love the story and the game design. Since I found it been playing it every day to see where it was going to go. But that is definitely is sucking the fun out of it.

I really enjoyed the game, Droid, you're reliably one of the best AVN creators, but I found it somewhat weaker than LoM.

Maybe it's because I found three-in-a-row to be a much worse combat mechanic than poker and skipped all the fights.

Or maybe because the story felt much more on-rails. I know LoM had a calendar-based main quest as well, but I never felt like a passive observer, there was always something to do: get better gems, do sidequests to boost the power of Camelot, interact with the Chosen etc. In MS I often felt like I spent whole weeks doing nothing but boosting my stats, with nights (the most precious resource) taken over by events that had little to do with moving the plot forward. The angels and Miss Kennedy did all the interesting legwork, the only job the MC was given was punching hard.

Titter was absolutely hilarious, though. Mu Lau cultivating an aggressively shallow sigma grindset persona, Emily and Ciara both posting /r/im14andthisisdeep stuff and not realizing how they sound... chef's kiss.

Again, I know anyone can offend the artist and it was not my intent at all! I quite enjoyed Morningstar (too many games make me want to switch "skip unseen text on" or just delete it when I see it has no literal plot) and I wish you luck with your next game.

At higher levels its all about skill synergies. You want something like a pure rage build that snowballs your damage as you go, or building strike counters to empower the armageddon skill. The last fight shouldn't be taking that long.

There's probably really good bleed builds as well but I've found losing half the bleed if you accidentally match skulls makes it hard to work with. It's kinda the opposite of bleeding in most systems - you have to keep not hurting them to build up to a oneshot rather than a dot that you can keep going.

I'll finally finished it but still wasn't doing so well in the tunnel. I was sticking with the light attacks and had moved my stuff back and forth through out. Beginning to think I needed to spread them out between the different branches though. Also think where I was playing more for the story that I might not have capitalized on early opportunites to level up sooner. Think I was level 13 when I posted that message and hadn't really moved up much by the time I finished the story.

BTW that was a VERY amazing story and ending at least the light one. Will have to go back and play the other options as well. WELL done Droid Productions, I give credit where credit is due and that was an amazing story and well thought out game. Mad respect for that one even if I didn't like the combat part as much.
