You are correct, that is why I wrote several. By just checking a random page i counted 20 male and 10 female protagonists. My point was that all games don't have to have a male protagonist, 2 friends and a landlady to be successful.

I can only speak for myself, but it's nice to have variety. Most games are some dude banging chicks left and right. Fewer are games where the protagonist is a lady and has a choice to bang dudes or ladies, fewer still are futa and are given the same choice. I hope this is a trend that continues to grow.

I can enjoy it either way. Different protagonists offer different perspectives. I could identify with a shower head protagonist if pretty girls were using it in the game.

Games don't have to have a male MC, a landlady, a roommate and a childhood friend. It depends on the developer. You could make a game with a chair as a protagonist. It doesn't mean anyone would play it. It's just how the market works. Supply and demand. Even if it means just a handful of cutesy games filled with fluff (and smut) while generic male mc games already look like they are mass produced.

I'm simply saying how it is in general. Not that I like it. There are of course exceptions, as you mentioned. You know, it's mostly men who play and watch porn and they want a guy that they can self insert in. That's why film screenplays have many notes and description of scenes. Story boards and drawings are, or at least were used too. You'd be the producer / director and writer .

that needs double development time because you need to make a image with and without dick for every scene and that is not productive if you already need a few month for a minor update.

i would have liked it if the path where the game will go would have been CLEAR from the start.
now it is harder after 4 chapters of character development to change course.

again i say i like both type of games but i would prefer it to know from very early on what direction the game will go.
sudden changes in plots only ends in ruining the buildup that happend until the change.

If you play the lesbian route in "Summer in the city" there are no dick anywhere.
In MLS you can skip the scene and return to Amelia. Dr Asa still gives you the information. It's not like you chose to not watch it happen. The scene never happened in your play through.

I know, and I do play those routes just like you say. I just think it is a shame the devs feel to need to include it in the game at all. But like I said it's their game so they can do whatever they want.

Yeah this is whats bugging me the most, if it was planned from the start why not make it clear right away?
Like adding a disclaimer before the short Overview of the game *** This game will have FUTA in the future ***
or when you start a new game, inform the player of your future intention.

I never thought I would be discussing or be interested in the origin story of a cock. Though to my defense, this one belongs to big breasted lady.
There are different ways this could go. We still cannot rule out that there is illegal research happening at the hospital (e.g. stem cell). Whether Dr Asa used the results for her own gain or conducted some illegal research on her own without the knowledge of the hospital management.
On the other hand she could have very well met Tara, who gave her this gift. There doesn't need to be a secret altar at the hospital. Or a sect. The people upon which she bestowed her gifts needn't know about each other. Likewise at the dorm. Won't the dorm be remade / retconned in the new version anyway?
I have previously speculated that the hospital could be working with / for Tara. Either specific people in secret or the hospital itself. If there are more people involved I could imagine them forming a fanclub of Tara. If the entire hospital or sections of it are involved, probably only people on the top would know about her. Of course this doesn't mean that other people with similar supernatural experiences couldn't gather and form a fanclub or a sect worshiping Tara.
We shall see.
