VN Ren'Py Completed Motherless [v0.22.1.0] [Mr.Mister]

Unfortunately no help there it still crashes on startup. It seems most the games I like are Renpy and some still play fine and others do this. Seems like all these problems have been within past 2 weeks updates but other games updated in same time frame still play fine after I download new versions.

How about you try this.
Find a Renpy game that does still work. Make a full copy of it (all directories). Then remove all the contents from the 'game' directory.
Now copy all of the contents from the new Motherless 'game' directory' into that now empty 'game' folder/directory.
Try to start the game now, using the new copy.
ps: It does work...

Mr.Mister- I hope you don't take it as a personal thing, like I said in first post I loved playing this game so far and it is certainly not the only one to give me this issue. I'm just hoping it's not something like my computer is just not able to run them anymore due to its age.

Newer versions of Renpy are prone to do this (esp on older machines). Start the game holding down the Shift key, change the Graphics Renderer (upper left) and use the the lower one. Quit and restart. Should work for you.

They landed their star rover on a desolate beach head.
What ever could have sprung their get together is of tell tale:



There it is .. looking and spotting 4 a place all of their own.



They let the sun caress their beautiful toned bodies as they unravelled some mistery:



At least one mistery was debunked .. they are gorgeous beyond belief.



They spoke of love, like lack of it made someone poor.
What novelty ideas these must be to such alluring perfect beings.



They talked of life long friends with such ease ...
Where do they find the time to care about others?



They talked about making sacrifices 4 becoming a family.
Not just that, but one big happy family.



Because they are goddesses .. Poof .. just like that .. one was pregnant.



What heresy to even hint at a thought such as this.
A goddess insecure of her wonderful proportionate body?



Yes .. they are magnificent.
Goddesses in all senses of the word.



Such original dreamy heavenly origin story everyone should get
butterflies gaming in.



All the blessings of goddesses that bestow dreams of wonders
to all new born fantasy alter egoes of gaming.



Oh my ... such praise from astounding goddesses.
Phenomenal!



Running under the heartwarming cuddly rich heavenly gaze of a goddess.



Skills of astout observations and feelings for the goddess.
That is how you start a game right.



They are at it. Unbelievable.
They had such wonderful plans.
They were so gorgeously feeling 4 eachother.

What happened to all that love and careful life long planning?



I guess angels do exist and they are not shy to be helping and caring.

Is there still good in this world?
Even after not one but 2 goddesses lost all interest in
their own brave plan of a big happy family?



How good can this game be all of a sudden.

I used an older version of renpy for this one. The same one I used for my "legacy build" for chapter 10 1st half. It worked for a lot of people who weren't able to make it work... Wierd shit is happening to good people.

Thank you 4 giving us such a wholesome life story worthy of gaming.
The good feels and the simple bold actions of MC and the others give hope and a wealth of humanity in a game so beautiful one can loose the smear of IRL drama and really live out this dream.

Chapter 10 1st half was compiled with the latest renpy version, but 2nd half was compiled with an older one. Perhaps that's causing the problem...mm

So switching the contents from the "game" file into the "game" file of another renpy game did work to get game to load, going to try and play through here in bit but seems to be working fine. I'm not sure if I should post what game I downloaded to do this but it was a recently updated renpy game. I can add title if you want or PM if it helps you out Mr.Mister.

EDIT: I used WVM since I knew it was recently updated but still worked for my PC. I also did confirm that this works more than just loading the game and was able to load old saves and play through the update with 0 issues.
