Quick question. Are the side characters optional to pursue or do I have to bag everybody in order to get the true end?

I'm not really sure, I just accepted everyone.
I know that at the beginning is a little weird because some of the very first women options are old ladies: Helga and Gheera (not sure if name is right). But those relationships definitely pay off later.

For the most part the main story is finished except for two more What If story's with Valerie and Gissell.

, this and what if's, and probably Sam and some of the character of Motherless will appear as cameos in the new game about Hunter, what will be a continuation of the same universe

The question was the game finished and the answer is the main story of Motherless is finished. I know that Motherless characters will show up in the Next game (just like those characters showed up throughout Motherless) and as the What If's and the vacation that is more of a fan service epilogue than part of the main game.And Mr.Mister said that in the future he want to make an update about a vacation with Sam and all the girls

Up top where it says "Season 1." The moon next to it is a Halloween special. This is the AIO version. Well older one, still have not DL last one.
Seeing you have 16.3 in bottom corner, I'm guessing you have the standalone version for season 2. You should have an auto-save from getting on the plane. Not 100% on how there were imported over. If I remember it had a slight different name to the save file. Check the Additional Info in the OP for better info

Ok you playing the standalone version of the game when you finish Season 1 you need to play until you see Progress Successfully Transferred in the upper left after that just go until you get the the main menu of Season 1.
Once in season 2(goes for standalone version and Full Game version) you will just start a new game which will start you on the plan. (If anything that didn't transferred right you can always manually put thing in by going to the Characters on the main menu and using both Relationship Manager along with Name Changer be warned you can find spoilers in them.)
I've just started and lemme tell you that the prologue is crap, I mean who the hell does all that for a friend ?
