My pleasure - wish I could take full credit for it, but I stumbled across it once upon a time and saved the file in a folder named "1galleryunlock" in the same main folder that I store all my renpy games in (the name is so it stays at the top alphabetically and is easy to find)... after I complete a game, if I've missed a scene or two and don't wish to play through it again (some have enough branching action that it's worth doing another play through to get them, most don't), I unlock and watch the missed scenes.

You are correct - no clue why... at some point perhaps I'll delve into the code since I'm starting to learn it a bit.
