Today I couldn't download from Google, it said something like: the transfer limit has been reached (I thought there was none, or a much higher one). But Mega worked fine.

Google has a built in limit. Only a certain number of people, or the file can only be downloaded so many times in a time period. As the instructions mentioned there, come back later and it should work.
