While I appreciate translated games, I really wonder on the quality of this one. There are some mistranslations on really simple things, like in this picture the girl says "Uso desu," because she was just kidding about what she was saying, but the translation says the opposite.
Don't know if it helps, but netorare is just the passive (and nominalized) form of netoru, which means "to take someones partner/lover". That's why netori (a form of nominalization) is put on media where the player/protagonist is actively stealing someone else's partners. So netorare literally means "being taken". No more, no less. And netorase is the causative (and nominalized) form, meaning something like "let be taken", which is why it's used for media where people let their partners/lovers be taken. The base word itself is comprised of "sleeping" (ne) and "taking" (toru).
Maybe that helps with some of the confusion.. or adds to it. Dunno.

That was a misread on my part as I was reading the whole script with codes on the sides

Generally speaking netorare is also wrongly translated as cuckold.
cuckold =/= netorare
Cuckold is general therm for someone who get his wife banged banged by someone else but in west Cuckold as porn genre is more like BSDM rather than netorare. It is hardly about feelings involved but more about domination/slave.
So yes like you said NTR always is about feelings not about sex and it doesn't have anything to do with someone being better at sex. Imho one of greatest NTR games around from Anim about partners swaping

is perfect example of difference between cuckold and NTR. It is swapping game up to the point where pair starts to lie to each other and then trust, jelousy, love start to go awry perfectly showing best of NTR. It is the feeling part that is what NTR is all about not sex.Effectively NTR is just women type of romance but from male perspective. Watch any brasilian telenovela and you will see that pretty much everything is about jelousy/love/trust/stealing significant others etc.
Also i fundamentally disagree with ABC designations of NTR though i might be in minority considering problems with defining NTR in west.

Sorry to ping you. By any chance you work alone or with some group ? I saw a lot of projects under your belt and honestly from what i have been on net i think you have the most projects under your belt from any translation group in eroge usually such projects are done by single/few people and all experience is lost once they hide away never to be seen again.
Well the point in asking is that if you are alone i would wish to help you if i can. I can't translate directly anything since i don't know japanese but i can organize some discord server, i have some experience with python so i could do some scripts on parsing text to fish out and replace text in files, research AI translation tool help etc. Moreover with creation of discord i hope that we could establish community of translators that could healp each other, share tools experience and knowledge, research stuff about translation like using AI and other stuff. While obviously starting new discord server usually means not a lot of people would be in it i really believe that with time there would be enough translators and people who would want to be involved to share your burden and help each other out and give something community.
Obviously i don't ask for this randomly. One i dearly wish for such community to exist with more games being translated, two i had experience of creating such thing already in another genre. I was working on monster hunter texture pack alone and i found other dude who also worked on same game textures we started server and now after 3 years not only we effectively "finished" dounting task of retexturing game that would probably take us 2 4-5-6 years of hard work in basically a year but also we build up community that retextured almost all older MH games at the same time and even now work is still being done by people who join project and contribute however they can.
I sincerely believe that there are a lot of people on net who wish to translate stuff but they don't have fertile soil to grow and contribute. If you would be a prime contributor just doing what you do now i think we could make such discord success and start something that could sprout in future giving translation community place to nurture and grow their projects sharing experience, tools, know-how, share work, work together and so on. I saw your other comment for example about engines games are using, information like that would be really gamechanging to many translators who know japanese but don't know how to extract files for example and start work.
The reason why Discord not forum or other type of board is personal experience of running project like that. Instant communication text only is really ideal place to focus on work while permament/important stuff could be archived in separate threads for community.

I find it hilarious how foreigners are arbitrarily assigning definitions to netorare, as if they know better than the Japanese do.

That being said, most NTR involves a lover being stolen away because this causes the highest amount of salt. One's lover usually ranks highest on the "affection" meter (although some traditionalists may argue that okaa-san ranks higher.) In any case, whatever makes the reader most salty is what works best.

IMO MC/you have crush to someone girl/childhood friend(in japan it's called our next future patner in life if they still have same feel) and see her HS with other man and you getting hurt it's can called NTR.
The point it's "Hurt" in here, when youre heart get "Doki Doki" so fast.
So from your story if you don't getting hurt that not called NTR'd. So it's depens your POV.
