Thank you for using the proper GREEK name, rather than the obliquus Roman "Hercules". Even "Jason and the Argonauts", which should have known better, got that wrong.
Well, to be fair, Jason and the Argonauts was aimed at an American audience. Here in the United States most people know the Roman name rather than the Greek one. I'm not saying I agree with their choice, but "Hercules" was clearly used so more people would recognize the hero. Historically, there is this odd pattern of when a Greek word is preferred over a Latin one, or vice versa. I suppose it just depended on which a particular person used when popularizing the name, term, or other word.
