How can I make the gallery have none of the scenes unlocked? I played this game like 2 years ago, forgot evcerything and want to start again but the gallery is alsomt completely unlocked.

I tried deleting the games AppData folder as well as the savedata inside the game folder, even went as far as to delete the "gallery" files in the game folder. Nothing worked.

Weird, usually just deleting (or just moving them to somewhere to backup) both the persistent files in the saves folder from the game install and in the appdata/roaming/renpy/(game name folder) should make the gallery clear, but both saves and persistent for sure would do it. Make sure in case you have more than 1 windows user and is saving in another appdata user folder. Just for "science" I'm gonna move it all to a safe place in my game (and make sure no gallery unlocker is active lol) and see if I get the same result than you. Yep make sure you don't have any mod/file unlocking it also. Better yet a fresh game install.

Hmmm well in the "SCENES" gallery where the replay animations everything got locked as you can see in this SS
But in the "GALLERY" gallery where the bonus render are they stick, no idea why. Btw which gallery you were mentioning because this one is just bonus renders.
EDIT : gonna move back my saves and appdata folder back, want my game unlocked like already was

i was referring to the bonus render gallery, i just checked that one and assumed the scenes gallery had also not been cleared.
still, is there no way to clear the bonus render gallery too?

I think not because it doesn't seem to be connected with the persistent file(s). They are simply some bonus renders, probably they are unlocked even in a fresh install. Don't bother much with it . And, you are welcome.

okay update: i deleted the saves folder and the persistent file, after that my game wouldnt start so i deleted everything and redownloaded the whole thing, now everything is locked again. including the bonus renders. no idea why it suddenly works but it does.

Yeah I see, maybe something kept going into the game install and kept the renders. Usually the best course of action when doing a fresh install is deleting (or keeping them somewhere for safe keeping) both the old install and the game appdata folder, and then yes install the game. Because if you do it backwards and run the game and then delete the saves/persistent something can go into the game and put those renders unlocked forever and ever, it really depends on how it is coded I guess hehehe.

my game is just crashing on launch tried downloading from multiple sources, anybody have an idea what could be causing it? Do I need to run it with Japanese locale maybe? I checked the log file and it doesn't seem to have any info about the crash
edit: I'm noticing the log file shows im using windows 10 but i'm on windows 11. Anybody using windows 11 have any issues running this or is it running fine? Sad I can't play :c

Yeah, I'm not the best reading log files but can't see it either. Better leave that for experts reading log files hehe but yep logs and traceback files always says on my games windows 10 when I'm using windows 11, its not an issue. Yes I'm using windows 11 and have no troubles running any renpy game so far including this one.

Edit: I just looked at my last log file from MBIML and only big difference I see, besides the obvious different machines we have, is those 2 last lines of your log that in mine doesn't exist

I figured it out. The firmware for the razer viper v3 TKL doesn't play well with some games I've found on this site. So far I've had issues with this game and also Black Souls. On Black Souls it would be constantly inputting "up" and wouldn't let me do some other inputs, and on this game it caused it to crash for some reason.

Yep for what it seems that controller is blocklist in this game, did you tried other renpy games using the newest version renpy 8.xxx... for what I read a few versions of that renpy are still unstable but the last ones are better, maybe that is why in this particular version still conflicts with some controllers.

I played Sicae first and found out this one is related so decided to give a try too. Though I haven't finished it, I like the story so far, some familiar faces surely bring back memories.

One thing I noticed is setting the relationship at the beginning. I know its a normal thing to avoid incest etc. but sometimes I wonder what it looks like when in some critical scenes suddenly it pops up like "She's my roommate its forbidden!" or "I must do this cuz he's my tenant!" Cant help but laugh xD

Well playing further along even Step-Sister is nonsensical so yeah i restarted again and now klara and skye are mom and sister despite me disliking incest. But everything else is entirely nonsensical in this avn.

To be fair I'd say is always preferable not to date/shack your roommate?
Who would want to risk sharing rooms with someone you had sex with "on the fly"? I mean unless you become actual partners that is.

As for the tenant or landlord/lady situation... never mix business with pleasure folks!

Wow....i just found the game and i didnt expect it to be so good.
I liked story a lot and almost all the lis and even if i chose 5 of the 9 Lis for the harem i liked the fact that all the lis have their stories and their own personal characteristics (even though some are much better lis than the others in my opinion at least with very strong backstories especially Gwen ,Emma Aine and Moon )
MC was pretty good (though i wish he would be a little more dominant and more fighter (he mention that he can protect himself so i assume he had some self defense lessons) i hope with what happened on chapter 4 we see more of that.
With this story and lis ... i believe the true ending and path is the harem path ... at least i chose this path for my main save
My lis are (in order by most favorite to least)
1)Gwen (my favorite)
2)Emma
3)Aine
4)Moon
5)Sky
If i had to chose for solo path there is only 2 Lis for which for sure i would go for..
Number one choice is Gwen which she is my favorite and even in the past she was the only one which she supported MC and chose him (yea i know Aine and Emma didn't have much of a choice be even so...)
and then second choice (though pretty close to 1st) is Emma which i believe have the saddest backstory with relations to MC (and serious reason for what she did in the past to MC what she did was for both Aine and MC and she never forget the MC)...
though if have to give a top 3 my number three solo li i guess would be Ainne though she if far away from the other two. (she was also forced by her mother but in my opinion she did it more to protect herself and Emma and less to protect MC which is understandable but even so that's the main reason why she is far away from Emma and Gween for the solo path choice.
(and for top 5 ... Moon (i realy her backstory and the past with MC) and then Sky my little sister LI and i guess the only LI which was alway at the side of MC.)
I trully enjoyed it... and im gonna check the Sicae next which i havent played yet (i also liked that the story is in the same universe with other VN... from what did i get this story is in the same universe with Once in lifetime (i have played it few days ago and became one of my favorites), Eternum (extremely good),Sicae (my next vn).

That's literally what I did in my very first playthrough, and what convinced me it was a VN worth playing.
