No, you don't really get what we are thinking. You are missing the point we are making here. It's not that we can't let go of what they did in the past. We can, we do. This is not about forgiving what they did.

Right now as they are, they are the same people. They were codependent back then they are codependent now. Sure they say they regret what they did in the past. But Emma brought eye of sauron back on Kei to help Aine. Their priorities are still each other. They need to grow and change before there can be a path to relationship (at least for me that is).

[That said, I am fully aware that some of the issues comes from restraints of storytelling. Congrats to Niichan for triggering this type of discussions on make believe characters that we can treat as actual human beings with agency.]
Despite all the pity for Emma and the other characters, I myself, agree with this. All of my characters are intended to not be a perfect person, even the MC himself has a lot of flaws. Flaws create story, flaws are what makes a character interesting, it triggers debate/discussion, at least, for me... They all made mistakes that they need to overcome in their current lives. You may hate them because of it, but that what makes them a human. They, themselves will make that hate into love as the game goes on. And that's what the game is all about.

Those who couldn't get the message of the story, will surely hate it. And I saw a lot. :KEK:

For me, Emma has a long way to go to earn the MC's trust. Sure she has his forgiveness, but that's not enough. In any case, I trust that as Aine, she will put herself on the right track (also, unlike Aine, she has a past with which she can connect more deeply with the MC)

Disclaimer: raw thoughts, don't read too much into it, if it seems like I am trying to force your to agree, I am not, just wrote as I thought, so is a bit messy. Just treat it as a it is, a different opinion to consider and then either use or discard of your own volition. (saying this cause I don't want to unintentionally start an actual argument, only discussion :) )

Not to mention you got to get with Gwen over it... I see it as an absolute win :WeSmart:

I noticed the harem tag but no cheating tag, I know we're early days in the story but is this game going to shape up something akin to WVM or MNF where the MC can be in multiple relationships at once or are we going to come to a path where we have to choose which girl to pursue?
Thanks, I'm loving this story so far. (y)

Both of it. Harem and solo path are options in the future. Each girls will have their own separate story if you choose to, when they're implemented. :)

It's pretty good. I enjoy the story.

The beginning does feel a bit slow and I really didn't like the "Bully" reveal when it first came. The initial setup of the story made me thing it's about how these characters have grown over the years and that makes sense. We haven't finished developing as people in highschool at all, so it makes sense.
To then have the reveal that Aina was always a nice person and it's just her eviiiiiiiil mother forcing her to do shit for some weird revenge reason felt a bit like a copout.

I also felt like the last episode didn't really have the intended effect on me. It was sad and I definetly feel sympathy with emma, but in some ways I feel less sympathy with her than before.
At first I thought she was just born into this weird servant/slavery situation they got going on. Then it turned out she wasn't but I thought she joined when Hera was still nice and had no option but to obey when she turned.
But no, she joined the family servants when Hera was already horrible and she knew about her abusing Aina and she still joined which only had the effect that Hera now had Emmas servitude to hang over Aina's head to abuse her further. It makes no sense, she was already friends with Aina. It doesn't seem like she had anything to gain by becoming their slave-servant and everything to loose, which she was aware of because she wrote it into her unsent letters to mc. She wanted to support Aina, but she was already her friend, how did becoming their servant make her more able to protect Aina than she already was able to. The flashback kept banging on about how smart she is and you can kindof see that in her job and how she moved Aina and mc together, but other than that I don't see it. She had all the information to know that joining that family was a terrible idea and did it anyway. It's weird.

Anyway, those things aside, the story is getting intruiging and I am definetly looking forward to how it proceeds.

To be honest with you. This games reminds me alot of Masamune-kun's Revenge. I'm hoping the difference will be that My Bully is My Lover will have a satisfying ending. I wasn't actually very pleased with how Masamune-kun's Revenge ended.

But I really enjoyed the overall story minus the ending which is probably why I'm digging this story so much.

I think it has already been said that it's inspired by that anime / series. To what extent I don't know, since I haven't seen it, but, as pointed out by others, the similarities center on the MC who suffers bulling, the girl who performs it and her maid. The rest of the story changes a lot (if it's as I have read in some replies)

Hey Niichan, I'm a bit confused and curious. Usually you make updates of your games in cyclic order. If I'm not wrong the last update was MBML and it means it should be the time for LCC. So why're you making the MBML instead of LCC. Btw both games are awesome:).

I have a new update schedule now. It's basically two release per game. We made Ep.5 last time and now Ep.6 is the 2nd update. For my next release after this, it's going to be LCC with two updates in succession as well. It allows me to put more focus on single game and not keep on switching moods every month, the sh*t gives me mood swings. :KEK:

I personally like LCC better than this though.
It's the only place where I can cum dump my darker imagination.
