It should. It's really a pretty basic line replacement patch that doesn't touch or rely on any of the code stuff which i think is what was supposedly fixed? I haven't had a chance to check the latest version myself, but if you do run across a line that seems like it should be replaced and isn't then let me know, as there is a slight chance the dev could have fixed some of the many spelling/grammar/Engrish issues which would cause an individual line to fail to be replaced that I would have to fix in the patch.

I have both Cable and Memory Card and also bought The 2nd 500 dollar camera but I cant proceed with cracking Ivan Laptop Password, can someone help? Everytime I open inventory and click on either cable or memory card it says need to stick memory card, and I have not unlocked any scenes with rita or the 2nd memory card

Ok thank god I figured it out myself , Just had to combine memory card with 500 dollar camera and boom you get the fusion and after that I only had cable in my inventory which I simply selected and clicked on it after selecting from bag and it finally worked sooo somehow the game progressed, this game works in weird ways

11/08/25 -Realized I missed changing the hints.
11/06/25 - Updated to fix a few small bugs.

- This is a pure dialogue patch/label hijack mod. No file replacement required. To install, simply save the file in the "game" subfolder of "MCR2-16.10260extra"

- Alters dialogue and tweaks the plot as necessary so that the MC is now staying with his Aunt, Uncle, and Cousins in Russia, instead of an unrelated host family.
- Anya/Olya are now both Lida's bio daughters.
- Adds taboo references throughout.
- Makes Tina's relationship as the MC's mom more explicit in the opening scenes that danced around it. Also renames her to Mom in game dialogue and on the phone entry stuff.
- References to "Lust and Life" characters/events altered to match the fan taboo mod version of that game's plot.
- Various English corrections, fixes for wrong person saying lines (or saying things that should be thought only), missing image corrections (when possible without modifying core files), etc.
- Enables the "+" money cheat to add $100 without needing dev mode turned on. (Money has to be over $0 to show up)
- Adds the option to rename the MC at the start of the game (For some reason the Dev gave the ability to rename him via the phone, but it only worked on the phone? While this mod now works everywhere except for the fight card game related stuff, I couldn't change it there easy without altering files.) Note that the MC was called Derek when he was a side character in the original "My Cute Roommate/Cousin". So if continuity is important to you, then don't enter a new name when prompted.
(Also note that is you DO rename the MC then his last name instead becomes Derek because of certain images that I couldn't change)


As always with my stuff feedback is appreciated, let me know if you encounter any issues in case I broke/missed something or there is anything that could be improved.

Btw your renaming fails. It worked for the first couple scenes but by the time you in russia if you renamed your name is still Derek.
Also, looking at that label if player provides an invalid name you say the name isnt valid and dont apply the naming patch for any characters..

Note: Shouldnt need to getattr as your setting them when renamemc is called. these would already be defines at init

Note2: My theory on why yours bugged is because you getattr char_id which an ingame variable which changes so although you passed char_id you specifically asked renpy to get the ingame variable.. Idk if dev did this on purpose after your release or what.

Anyways thanks for the logical patch, also naming MC should be game standard :HideThePain:

Also if ppl encounter a name issue and you dont wanna restart to fix you can just Shift + o then enter hero.name = MY_NAME enter hero_.name = MY_NAME obviously replace MY_NAME with your name of choice.

Correct, this only 'appears' to be your mod because you left config.developer = True on ln8 in your mod ;)
No biggie for me as I turn in on anyways to get tools and fix things on my end, but I can see why ppl seeing random russian would be like uhhh but hey the setting is russia afterall :p

Is there some modder out there who wants to program some repeatable content to the final version?

e.g. Webcam with Olya, Sleep sex by maid or Lida, Webcam with Anya, College bj or toilet with Katya.... even gym with Masha
In my opinion it would be beneficial for the game itself to have those gap filler. Maybe optional or via a trigger list and just without any choice-related content.
