on a side note, being a 50 year old disabled veteran, when meemaw said I'll bottle up some milk and leave it on the top shelf of the fridge to jamall i laughed so hard that the cola i was drinking shot out my nose
Jamaal is like the family punching ball. He has received jokes from the MC, Kate, Betty, Megan, and Meemaw. He is the first to laugh at himself (not only at his disability), and it helps other people see his disability as something they can talk about freely without him getting offended.on a side note, being a 50 year old disabled veteran, when meemaw said I'll bottle up some milk and leave it on the top shelf of the fridge to jamall i laughed so hard that the cola i was drinking shot out my nose
It's the best way to take it. I have a couple of conditions that could kill me tomorrow, next month, or never. I constantly joke about them. One of them was diagnosed in 2006 and the other last year. Both are procrastinating.hell, I joke about my disability constantly. my bones have so many cracks in them my xrays look like a Rand McNally road atlas
In which scene? Liborio has the songs to download for free from his site.
Oh... there's an idea... playing MD from the start but in Spanish... Hmmm... (Why didn't it occurred to me to do it sooner???)En la semana 1 por ejemplo cuando se encuentran en el aeropuerto con olivia y becky suena , me parece que tambien sonaba durante el entrenamiento de Krav-maga (no se pa que he traducido si me da que el español es el idioma principal de ambos)
In week 1 for example when they meet Olivia and Becky at the airport it sounds, I think it also sounded during Krav-maga training
Sorry, probably expressed myself wrong I wanted to say that since the dev had answered me, I think he said (in the op in dev notes) English is not his first language and it is in two languages, I assume that if the main language was Spanish, and since mine is also Spanish, wen I say, I don't know why I translated it, it was just a mockery/self-mockery.Oh... there's an idea... playing MD from the start but in Spanish... No, no... I am Portuguese. I have lived many years on the Frontier with Spain. I can read Spanish without problems, I understand it spoken, almost without issues (except some very regional expressions), I don't have much experience in speaking it or writing in it.Sorry, probably expressed myself wrong I wanted to say that since the dev had answered me, I think he said (in the op in dev notes) English is not his first language and it is in two languages, I assume that if the main language was Spanish, and since mine is also Spanish, wen I say, I don't know why I translated it, it was just a mockery/self-mockery.
If it's not that I expressed myself wrong, I don't know what you mean.

Sadly nobody under the age of probably 30-ish will get that joke. I remember offhand talking to my son once years ago and mentioning this archaic analog device (atlas) for navigation and getting a complete look of condescension/confusion in return.my xrays look like a Rand McNally road atlas
Unfortunately, you can also die due to navigation. One guy drove his car into a lake and drowned. The navigation told him to turn, so he just turned.Sadly nobody under the age of probably 30-ish will get that joke. Nowadays if the cellphone generation ends up with a vehicle navigation system off-line at the same time as their phones are out of range or dead, I worry that they might actually just lay down in the road and expire for lack of knowing what to do.
I loved my Key Map back in the day - of course, those were for just one city, but I never lived in more than one at any given time, so...Sadly nobody under the age of probably 30-ish will get that joke. Darwinistic tech. If someone can't pay enough attention too look up from their screens and out their windows before plunging in to a lake, maybe the world is better off. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Unfortunately, you can also die due to navigation. I keep my old local maps collection in the back of my car in the seat pocket. A few years ago I was driving my god-kids to see a movie and the younger one grabbed one and decided to find where we were going on the map. Found the location three times on our way there (and no, it wasn't the right map ^_^).Sadly nobody under the age of probably 30-ish will get that joke. I mean, you still have to make a save, but between releasing "Season 2" and "Season 3" they figured out how to get the season 3 game to auto-recognize the season two save as long as it was "within range" of the end of that version of the game, so there's no need for a singular save screen.Am I dumb or does Season 2 end prematurely? How can it be that Season 3 is already out but there's no end-of-season save for season 2? It just says "This is the end of the update" at some point and goes to main menu.
Alright, that clears it up. Thank you. I didn't really mind that S2 ended where it did. Just confused by the change in transition method I suppose. By doing it some way at the end of S1 they created the expectation that that's what an end-of-season looks like. It might clear things up if instead of "This is the end of the update" it were to say "This is the end of Season 2" or something like that. After all, End-of-Update screens are very common in VNs and most of the time don't indicate End-of-Season releases.I mean, you still have to make a save, but between releasing "Season 2" and "Season 3" they figured out how to get the season 3 game to auto-recognize the season two save as long as it was "within range" of the end of that version of the game, so there's no need for a singular save screen.
Also, like many devs, the seasons are more about file size and accommodating download restrictions and Android program-size limitations than what part of the story is being told.
This game is basically designed in three acts. The first act was the intro to the family and relationship building. The second act started with the arrival of the first wave of students (if I remember correctly) and ends when MC heads off to Aruba. Then after a time jump he returns (after the second wave of lodgers arrive) beginning the third act (again, if I remember correctly).
So you're right, "Season 2" isn't the end of Act 2. But the "end of season" save won't be a thing in this game for future seasons either, I guess.
Since I wasn't 100% sure the change between Season 2 (0.20) and Season 3 (0.21) would go smoothly with the new system, I didn't want to announce the Season finale in-game until everything was ready, in case I needed to add 0.21 to Season 2 through a bigger compression. Once all was ironed out, it was too late to add a new End of Season screen.Am I dumb or does Season 2 end prematurely? How can it be that Season 3 is already out but there's no end-of-season save for season 2? It just says "This is the end of the update" at some point and goes to main menu.
Pretty sure "they" did not. A one-time event (how S1 transitioned to S2 in this AVN) is never the basis for an "expectation." Even the most simple line requires 2 data points, and even then no statistician would take 2 points and automatically assume that a third point would fall perfectly in line with the previous 2. Expectations arise from false assumptions made by users. The progression of AVNs is probably much closer to being a chaotic system (maybe even stochasitic) than a deterministic one, so if one sees something happen once in an AVN update it is only going to cause frustration to expect every update in the future to be exactly the same.they created the expectation
Around 5,000 players downloaded it and few of them had any problem, and most of the problems where user-produced.Anyone else having trouble with the latest android update?
