VN Ren'Py My Dorm [v0.27.3 S3 Ch.7] [Tropecita Games]

Just writing a review for another game (My New Memories: The Beginning) and really thinking of My Dorm as I do so:

It’s another of those games for me like My Dorm, where despite the taboo, and despite the ridiculous idea (if you take a step outside of Pornland), it manages to feel kind of wholesome. Like with My Dorm, that’s all because of the character relationships, and how open everyone is with each other and with their feelings – and of course how openminded everyone is.

I love this sort of thing as a palate cleanser between the heavier or harder games, but calling My Dorm a "palate cleanser" feels like doing it a disservice, as it's so much more than that. Looking forward to the next update.

I was thinking this morning that the people you can't criticize because they delete posts managed to kill the thread

I love this sort of thing as a palate cleanser between the heavier or harder games, but calling My Dorm a "palate cleanser" feels like doing it a disservice, as it's so much more than that. Looking forward to the next update.

Well, I think a "palate cleanser" can also be great, and I don't think about it as a disservice. My Dorm tries to be a lighthearted and wholesome game and, if it manages to do it, it's enough for me.
Going with a "real" literature example, you can use Miguel Strogoff as a palate cleanser between Anna Karenina and War and Peace (and keeping the Russian theme), and it doesn't make Miguel Strogoff a bad book or even worse than the others. Only a lighter one.

Oh for sure, a palate cleanser is great, pretty much by nature. I just feel like if I describe it as a palate cleanser, some might take that to mean it's a lesser morsel taken between two bigger and presumably better things. That's definitely not the case though.

This time, the teaser is a bit bigger than in other updates (over 200 words). It even has an animation!

The lewd count is a bit weird this time. Kiara's is one Huge scene story-wise, but it changes the tone mid-scene, so I thought splitting the scene when it comes to the count makes sense.
And saying the scene is over 7,700 words and over 5,250 renders perhaps scares some players

For me it's funny you're apologizing for a mere 2 months for an update. As always communication is key - if you just communicate it doesn't matter if an update takes longer and to me you are excellent in communication. I think I have hardly see you skip a single day in posting something in the thread, even if it was only a like.

I support. Trope you are a real master of update. Not only that they are often they also extremely regular. Not much AVN equal to it.
