Well, the update has been released, and it's the moment some of you have been waiting for, when a special render appears to announce that in less than 24 hours, the game will reach the next tier. In this case, Norah's.

This time, I am doing Special Renders based on cartoon movies from my younger (and not-so-young) days. All from the same studio, and all of them easy to guess. Perhaps the hardest to guess is the first one, but since tomorrow the update arrives in her tier, I couldn't pass up the chance to start with her as a foxy archer from a 1973 movie (I watched it years later; I was a baby then) set in medieval England.

Looking forward to it. With a gallery like yours you can relive the whole game by cutting out the less important parts after reading it the first time. I have never seen a gallery like that. It is not a gallery but a summary that makes you relive the important things by starting them from the right place. I don't know if you made it up or if there are others around. I've never seen it.

Well, besides being one of the most beautiful games I've ever played, it's also the most beautiful thread I've ever been in. You make us feel right at home. Is your name Trope Marks?

My idea with the gallery always was to be able to play a single girl's whole story (instead of only her lewd scenes like most games do). That meant doing a save-agnostic gallery, where you could see the outcome of different choices, but I didn't know how to do a gallery then, and even less how to do it in a way that wasn't dependent on the saves.

With time and a lot of help, I got my idea running. I never saw something like My Dorm's gallery on other games (but it's been more than three years since the last time I played a game, so perhaps now there are some that do it).

I'm very happy with the end result.

I play a LOT of games, probably enough for both of us, and I have yet to see anything even remotely like that. Sure, separate the sex scenes by character, is common, but the whole scenes? Like a story focused only on that character?

That I have never seen, or even read about anywhere else but in this thread.

This is like a Gallery 20.0. (No it isn't a typo)

You can't make one of the best AVNs out there AND drop updates this quickly after the previous one. The Dev Mafia and Dev Illuminati will come for you.

It took exactly seven weeks to get this update wrapped up. Still, that's five days over Season 2's average (but bigger than the average Season 2 update. 10% more words and 144% more renders).
I would recommend other devs to ditch their social life if they want to be fast with their updates

On a side note, My Dorm won't be the only game with that kind of gallery. I've been helping an upcoming dev with his first game and he will also introduce something similar (besides setting his game in the My Dorm-verse (he asked for my permission and he has some interesting ideas.))
