Fair and yeah I agree, I THINK we'll get this next update but this might be the last one. I heard some rumblings that he is re-writing part of the start of the game which to me is always a bad sign that the dev doesn't know where to go next or the project has become too big so they don't know how to continue it. I feel like once the re-writes start on AVNs they never end and no new content is ever added, the old stuff just ends up re-hashed ad infinitum until it is perfect (spoiler: perfection is impossible to achieve so development effectively ends once the rewrites start). I'm cautiously optimistic for the moment since this is also one of my favorites but I'm also realistic when it comes to these types of things. Hope the Dev is doing well and I am wrong honestly and this one gets finished but we'll see.

I was checking out how itch is dropping adult games and saw he left a note about 5 mins ago. Says this update is as large as the previous 3 updates compined.

I had fully intended to start over anyways. The progression through the game is very odd, and trying to pick up where I left off last time seemed to break the game.
It was kind of hard for me to figure out how to push things forward. I've spent hours and never got to the pregnancy part of the story. also whats the point of those insemination scenes if the reality is that its just fixed event and not random whether they can get pregnant. unless that is going to change going forward?
Me either. The game, at least through the last release, seems designed to force you to just the right thing at just the right time, but is very unclear about what those often are, making progress difficult. I can't tell you how many times I came to what felt like a total dead end and had to come to this thread looking for answers that someone else had posted, and go back and retrace my steps and do what someone else said worked. I still never accessed a good bit of the content that was apparently there to be seen and gave up. I even tried to force it using the universal Renpy mod but that is less effective in this game than many others, I guess because of the uniquely challenging UI.

The supporter build has more detailed quest guides, so it's pretty impossible to get stuck if you're a patron
There are 2 events it seems like no one can figure out.
- Everyone skips reading the dialogue when Bianca makes it clear she won't milk when her mood is low and then is baffled why she isn't in the domain
- Fragment of a goddess requires going into Akari's office. Many don't realize it's her you need to speak to, or if they do they see her standing in the lobby with no dialogue options and give up
There are another 10 or so events that seem to be common sticking points.
I hadn't realized that the quest guides were locked like that. I can't remember ever hearing of another game set up that way, its usually bonus renders/videos and stuff that is.
I certainly hit a hard wall and I don't remember if I even got to the sticking points you referenced. As far as how my brain works, despite paying careful attention and re-reading things, I just couldn't figure it out and eventually gave up long ago. Its probably been a year since I last played.
Yes. About 10 days ago on it was announced that, the next build will have about an hour's worth of big animations and over 4,000 new images. It is going to be bigger than the previous 3 updates with its final touches being made and the last update from patreon being just about a week ago regarding the upcoming patch. I couldn't the post itself but I'm sure if you followed them on their Discord via a free tier patron on either Patreon or Subscribestar you'd be more informed than us here. Though hopefully in this megaton update the questlines will be more streamlined and less brute forced to find the content.
Yes and hopefully it's gonna come out in the next few days, considering he said he plans on releasing it at the end of July.

Friday FarmGuy mentioned on discord he was doing final playtesting. That doesn't have me leaping for joy; in late april there were just a few scenes to render and then playtest.
I don't think FarmGuy is trying to milk (pun not intended). I think he is continuously optimistic about how much work is left and forgets that the final 10% of shipping takes a far bigger chunk of the time. Each patch has gotten substantially bigger because he gets excited about a story idea or game mechanism and adds it and the kitchen sink to the mix. That makes shipping almost impossible as the scope grows faster than the pace of development.
The patreon update another poster mentioned wasn't actually that recent; it was late june when things were apparently days away. I've stepped back from support because FarmGuy can't keep his commitments. He recently declined to speculate on timelines, which I actually saw as a positive development. He seems to have recognized consistently over-promising things that were simply not possible. I don't think he was lying; I think he genuinly thought he could deliver and was deeply mistaken.
I'll support again once there is a release. I'll consider long term support if he focuses on choosing a specific, narrow scope and then relentlessly ships just that.
