Then, I like that there is a bit (A small bit, that my mind inflates-) affection between her and the blackmailer. These kind of games wouldn't exist if people in them acted logically, husbands not doing anything to stop it when they find out, wives not telling their husbands from the start.
I mean it makes no sense most of the time. Which is why most NTR is shit. At least when it's written like this, Blackmail NTR is the lowest effort story wise if you think about it.
The female characters are almost always very poorly written.
It is what it is really, but NTR shouldn't ever happen because of stuff like in this game. Doing that to someone is vile, so you can't love them if you do. It doesn't work that way. IF you love your partner you will never do what this girl did in this game. You just don't. The second ending when the MC grills her, you can tell how little thought she had given her situation, her thought process was, as long as my husband never finds out it's fine.

It's a lesson for everyone who gets blackmailed, if they ask you to do something for them, you will just give them more to blackmail you with. It will never stop until you stop it yourself.
What do you think is worse, her husband finding out she was raped and now the guy is attempting to blackmail her with it.

Generally I agree, it's not realistic at all. But it's a matter of suspension of disbelief, if you can overlook that part you can enjoy the rest. And as you've said, if the writers didn't use such devices the genre wouldn't exist.

LOL i remember the first time playing this game without walkthrough. One of the annoying part of this game was you need a walktrough or you got bad ending that need to play from previous part. Luckily it only happened in part 2. But this ruin the pacing for me. Fortunately for Japanese speaker , the hints was hard to miss. But for non-speaker it was pain in the butt. The secret ending also need you to playing previous part after finishing one story part.
tl:dr without walktrough, completing this game is pretty hard.

Speaking of not realistic . I find the fin 1 route is the most non-sense route of all routes in this game. But the ero scenes from this route was the best haha. But i really can't stand Shiobara guy, dude is creepy as hell. But i only accept Shiobara manipulation to Masashi could works just because he was not in mentally stable , and shock after Misaki cheating. His manipulation to Misaki that looks awkward, but he use Masashi as proxy, so... kinda works i think? Fin1 route could works better if they didn't do time skip six month later. But i think the writer acknowledge this part is awkward and more focusing Misaki with Kurokawa . (Also what happened with Aida on this route!?!?!?)

Nah, it's ok - for now trying to avoid MTL because I have so many games on my hard drive that I don't have the time to play them all, and besides, this space is starting to run out and I prefer to leave it for full translations. ;-)
