No one is really blowing things out of proportion. People are giving their feedback and you're actively responding to each person as if you are the Feedback Hall Monitor, telling them their opinions aren't valid while constantly giving YOUR opinion. If they don't like the new version, their reasoning doesn't have to line up with yours, because it's THEIR individual thoughts. You gave yours, allow them to give theirs. How long is the gameplay?

Not too long, but there's enough material to be enjoyed. It goes to sex pretty fast and if you want you can speed run It with ctrl.
Personally I'm not a big fan of the direction of the story (It's pretty much much a fuck fest now, with all the pros and cons that this implies), but again It's a rather enjoyable game. Just try It, but do not expect a massive game or something that goes too deep.
