However, the vast majority of (long-term or not so long) relationships have gone through a stage of betrayal by one of the partners. It ended differently - but there are specific studies that say that betrayal is not the main cause of divorce - but the lack of understanding between partners.

we always appreciate the views of others if they extreme(case in point duke ). i dunno if 10 years is considered a long relationship but in my experience communication and honesty leads to trust which i joe and smoothers believe they are a must in a good relationship. as you said lack of understanding is just a basic piece of the larger puzzle which leads to cheating is what i think. christian definitely has control over vivian its clearly shown by the way vivian reacts to the first meeting. the weakness in the legs. the prolonged eye contact and flirty interactions and even going for a 2nd kiss. no denying that. thinking she can do better than her husband without understanding why hutch didn't want vivian to meet his coworkers of 6 years and especially the boss that's a flaw. and then going behind his back and liking the kiss and then accepting the dress sent by christian all have to have some sort of red flags. then again none of the happens and as duke said vivian being the dumbest fmc ever is why we have this story.

ask sslovoe his model is quite similar to vivian's model...not the exact same but close enough for fan fic. the base model is charity from gen 3 and its highly customised. so the better option would be to ask someone who has a close enough model already.
