That is an interesting question that I have also asked myself. They both love each other 100%. But maybe it could be that Hutch hasn't found Vivian sexually attractive for a long time (I know that's unrealistic for most people). He can't accept it yet and admit it to himself. Maybe that's why he's so easily influenced by Chef.
Perhaps he has been struggling with the feelings that vivian is currently developing for some time. I know it's all just speculation.
I can't imagine him ending up in bed with his wife again.

Great VN very well done, my only complaint is that Vivian is literally getting everything she wants and there has been Zero consequences for her so far.....notta nothing not even any yelling about it, hell she never even said sorry. I've been married for 18 years and I can tell you that if it were even a decent marriage there would be a hole lot of yelling and screaming going on. I hope the Dev lets Hutch get some kind of revenge. I personnally would like to see her at least confess and try to work things out.

Some have mentioned that she is the one making a sacrifice, but with Hutch agreeing to "open" their relationship, it is evident that he is the only one making the sacrifice.
He needn't do it, but this is the story being told, and we are here for the ride.

Interesting dialogue. It may be a hints that Hutch has already decided for the revenge plan. This conclusion would kind of contradict with the last interaction where Hutch ask for her to return home. Unless Hutch devised a very intricated plan to get his revenge and his last request is just a way to further Vivian down to the corruption plan.
