I get where you are coming from, but then it would absolutely have been a conventional story like dozens. The narrative reversal was the genius of the first chapter. But you have to capitalize on that in the following chapters, you can't switch back to a conventional story.

There's no turning back now. After everything that happened in this chapter, Vivian made it clear that she belongs to Christian now.

That conversation between the two woman was the highlight of this chapter. The other woman gave Vivian the template to have her husband and her desires. Vivian went through all the range of emotions. It was good solid, then when your husband comes home from his trip instead of you implementing what you have learn from someone who obviously knew what they were talking about. You just went the direction they told you don't, which for me makes that conversation a waste. My only hope is she doesn't try to have the conversation after all she has done and said to Christian.

Vivian showed in that conversation that only she can enjoy an open marriage, a selfish whore

Ch1 you are in a mercedes on highway and bang ch2 rollerblades offroad.
Everything is just bad,feels rushed.Character just plain idiots.
Hutch is space out no emotion, watching the skies maybe waiting for a owl with his Hogwarts letter.
Christian the "alpha male" the owner of Vivian gets a sloppy seconds,the second most humiliation for a cuck after cleaning.
Vivian is going so extreme that redbull is going to offer her a sponsorship.She is like Cicciolina (eu guys know her) wanted to do some erotic (not porn) movies and bang she fucked a horse.

Maybe thats what dev wants, to hate her, when Hutch goes with Addison to live like Hanks and Wilson to not feel sorry for her.
