Hope for wife. She is not some wastrel, going hungry and sleeping in the rough, that some greasy pimp has picked up. Even though boss uses pimp like tactics on her. She is an educated person with a life. If she is still in command of herself, she does have the power to decide that she does not need to turn tricks for a living when boss gets around to telling her to do that for him. I hope.

Yep, its a start is all I'm saying. Ultimately, they've been together maybe 25 years (22 years married, Vivian says "quarter of a century" at some point in Ch2), and feelings that have been around, and nurtured, for that long don't just suddenly go away - even if you want them to.
It says a lot about the confusion in her mind. Who does she go to for love? She feels she must ask husband for it even though she knows she does not deserve it from him. And tomorrow she must know she will be fucking boss again. I look for a sign that she is beginning to realize her own true feelings and that boss is something more than simply an asshole.
He does not shrug her off, so that is something about his level of acceptance of the situation. These two might come out the other side of this together. That would be how love is sometimes. It is so hard to sense it until we start feeling its absence. A reunion would be a victory for them, and not an aspersion on either. When people love each other that is all that needs to be said.
I don't know even if they where to some how survive it , I just don't see how hutch would ever trust her again after all before she found out that hutch knew he constantly asked her if she needed to tell him anything or something along those lines and when she leaves to go to the meeting she's like nothing will ever happen again it will just be dinner then home and then she blows him / bangs him in the drive way so he knows at the current moment she is just consistently lying to him
If it does last I would imagine it will transition from a marriage of love to a marriage of convenience
In a marriage of convenience one party does not repeatedly reach out to the other for love. I think husband sees that from her and doesn't have the heart to really turn away from her. 25 years of love.
They have a very long way to go though, including reestablishing trust. The burden of proof is on her, and she absolutely must come clean not because he asks her point blank, but because she has come to feel she must even though he does not ask. That admission from her would be the beginning of trust again. The only way this could work is that they really do really do love each other and want to get past this. It is possible.
Admission would include admitting that she feels unable to resist boss, does not know what to do, but cannot bear the thought of loosing husband. Let's leave town.
There is an old thought about addiction: how many times do you believe it when an addict says they are quitting? Ans: as many as it takes. The intent to quit says it all. But quitting is so hard.
If all else fails, go to a shrink and tell them you are suffering from the consequences of sex addiction. They say that sexual problems like that are the easiest to treat in therapy. So go for it if you need to.

just look at the morning after when she tries to take his hand. Doesn't give good vibes to me. Even if he did open the marriage. He is right to be mad at her because she lied and broke his trust.

In that scene he wasn't even really mad. Just cold. He literally said. You do your part and I do mine. Still refuses to tell her he loves her.

If I am not mistaken, the conversations between Vivian and Rain and then with the boss at the end of chapter 2 rather indicate that Vivian's feelings towards Hutch have faded away and she is now emotionally attached to Christian. I cannot imagine how she can go back to Hutch and still pretends that she loves him. That notorious sentence of hers "I love you" cannot be emptier. There are teaser pictures from the garden party where they are still seen being together. I guess this is just a set up to a major humiliation of Hutch in front of his colleagues from work in Chapter 3.
Because He opened up the marriage he theoretically can't be humiliated about it unless he gets angry and everyone sees it.

Not sure what is the set up of the garden party. You are right about Vivian. We are torn by her actions and her words at this point.. When she was talking to Sunshine ... she said it has been 2 days and she missed him... Sunshine thought she meant her Husband... Then she said Ohhh ! She understood Vivian meant Christian. I was bumed. I am pulling for Hutch.
I don't think it is clear either way, they are both gone and wife does not say which.
As wife leaves the swingers next morning, she tells Sunshine that she will have to break up with boss. They cannot go on as they have regardless of whether husband allows it.
Wife is not clear in her own mind. So we can't be either at this point. We can only hope.
At the end of chpt2, this confusion is as potent for her as ever. She tells boss earlier that he owns her, and then later she says:
But remember...
He says
I know-I know...husband...noble sacrifice...I get it.
Boss does not look happy about that.
The way is not yet clear for him to turn her into a prostitute. Or for her to feel love for him if that is what he wants.

It seemed pretty clear to me, that the implication of that dialogue about missing "him" was that she was missing Christian, and not her Husband. And then you couple that with the fact, that later on that night she also confides in her, that she just knows she's going to have to give Christian Anal at some point as well, So she lets herself be talked into doing it first with them, to make it easier and test the waters for when she does give it to him. All points to her mind being 90% on Christian now.
She enjoys being his plaything, she was just coming to terms with it. And by the end of the Chapter, she has...
Rather here: love and psychological addiction to external recognition out of own deficits are easily confused.
