I think she would have left, I don't believe she intended on letting Christian ram her on the deck, but the deal was done and she thought she saved Hutch's job.
If Hutch would have left, she would have known he seen them, and went after him, I don't think she was "that" under Christian's spell yet, not until he gave her pleasure later that night did she become "confused"...

i dont think thats when it started... the first time vivian shows weakness in when she meets christian for the first time at the office. then it's downhill from then on as there are many instances where vivian is more comfortable with christian than she is with hutch her husband of 22 years. pornlogic aside the dev from the intro of the game has made it clear that this will not be a happy harem story. in view of that statement from the dev we will be going more dark for hutch and happy for vivian as in most NTR stories. As we get more update we will only see vivian mindset change from hutch being a husband to christian being the man she wants. to support this you just need to read and see the interaction of the characters in the code talk after vivian finds out that hutch was the one in the toilet when she was getting happy with christian.

Oh yeah, I remember that from playing. Umm, my impression is that "they had an agreement". They agreed to a have sex, to make sure Hutch kept his job. And, she agreed to fuck. He didn't exactly force her. But, the alternative would have been Hutch losing his employment.

So, I say that, and then what that line is about, is that he's just bringing up that idea that... he didn't force her, and she always, always, always had the option to just leave, and blow the job.

She didn't want that, so she stayed. It's simple from how I see it.

But, who really knows how it all took place. I just find it odd that people are pushing that Vivian would have initiated it, when most evidence would be that the whole trip out to the backyard was Christian's idea. Why would he organize the activity for Hutch, getting the pad and pen, and and taking her through the house for the tour, if not to try to get into her pants? He took her out to have a chat with her, and he would have been the one to do all the talking. And, it would have been an ultimatum: you spread your legs, or Hutch is out. And, so she goes through with it, because she didn't want her husband to lose that job.

Or, not at at that stage. She did want Hutch to look and accept other jobs. that was her go-to proposition. But, then Hutch didn't want that, so she went to bat for him.

I'm gonna be absent for a while, so this is maybe my last comment about this for that time. I'll check with your opinions when I come back, if you want. Keep trucking with your particular points of view.

Then when she came in and saw Hutch's notepad was empty... oh to have been able to see what was going on in her head then!

Well, she gave Sawyer a check when she went to visit him. The game is set to cover a few days per update, at the current pace at least, so unless there's a bit of a time skip, the only way there should be any issues there is if the cheque (because I'm a Brit) bounces. There should be no reason for it to bounce, the money issues should have been stopped by Vivian's actions, and even if not, it wouldn't result in a sudden drain in their bank account.

lets not forget the other plans that have been made or preped by the various other characters. like the mechanic asking for a ride. sawyers roommates asking to go for the beach . marcel and rupert from school.

Basically yes, it's a form of emotional blackmail. I didn't force you to do anything, I didn't trap you here, the door was always open. All you had to do was walk through it. I never once said do this or your husband loses his job - that's where you got to in your head, but I never said it. The door was always open, but you didn't walk through it because deep down, you know you didn't want to. You didn't want this to end.

Umm, nice fiction there. But, I really don't see it happening that way. At the first blush, there would have been a negotiation: you spread your legs right here and now, or tomorrow Hutch is leaving the company. And from that, she would have had that threat carry on to where she was faced to stay the night. And, you could see it by her facical expressions that she wasn't comfortable with it. It was all his idea to force her into it, and because of the threat still hanging over them (as a couple), she went through with other things.

But, in her own mind, after that full night of sex, she thinks she's done enough so that at least the job is secure. That's her hope. And, I don't think there would be that much negociation in the bedroom. Christian would have just told her what he wanted, and she submitted. I see it that way. And, I'm not sure why there's such an opposing point of view when I'm sure it happened like the way I picture.

But, before I go, I don't remember that line of Christian saying he left the door open. I've only played the game once, and I could have missed that. I'll have to play it again at some point.

i dont refute or support since we are speculating but we have to agree that we have to use pornlogic here and not everday sense. since vivian is severely lacking in common sense based on how she makes choices based on what christian tells he and not he experience of 22 with hutch. and 1 more star to the dev is the way he slips in slight actions or reactions in conversations and animations that people tend to miss out on the first read through.

This "director's cut" shows a more playful side of Vivian and perhaps a different level of complicity between them.
At this point in the story, it's clear that she also enjoys sex with him, as some of the dialogue and actions in this scene in the bathroom show: just before this deleted part, she stops him to willingly give him a blowjob, later she admits that he's good at it, that his cock is hard like "concrete" and she even licks the remains off her finger sua sponte.

think we will be having flashbacks to these skiped dialogues in future updates

And in any case, a grand bravo, because it really is a great story, perfectly executed in all its aspects, the quality of the renderings, the quality of the texts and dialogues, the narrative technique with the short "auto-advancing"... Really impressive!

I think he, Christian, left her a choice without saying it. Either Hutch fights on his own for his job with the given task he ordered Hutch to fullfil during the evening and which wasn't finished, yet from the view of Christian. Or give Vivian the opportunity to step in for Hutch.
When asked to present his task Hutch hesitated and while Vivian saw why, Christian apologized for being discourteous and letting Hutch present his work without having the promised dinner.
Vivian knows Hutch just can't handle this situation on his own. She has strictly no believe in him especially when seeing the empty blog from Hutch.
So when asked after the dinner to enter the bunkroom with Christian she makes her decison by accepting his outreached hand well knowing if Christian would ask Hutch for his given task, Hutch would fail.

So all Christian is doing is playing a testing game with both of them. He knows Hutch and knows that he's just a shy, not self-confident numbers guy and would fail at the given task.
And he tests Vivian by testing her will to see how far she would go for Hutch, her marriage.

There is no benefit he's already fucking his wife, he's aware he knows, he knows Vivian wants him. Most antagonist would taunt him, make fun of him rub that shit in face he doesn't do any of it. Hope they give a explanation later.

there is no reason for explaining the reason of an antagonist in a ntr story he does what he wants to... not mcu. but jokes aside christians characters comes across as ahole who gets what he wants... and from the previews and story so far he pretty much does. some may view that conversation between christian and hutch as pep talk but other may see that as manipulating the results. and we know that at the end vivian was done with him and now he is rigging the results.

I feel like the pep talk/ manipulation is to keep hutch quiet, so he doesn't confront Vivian, all in order to continue fucking her, or to make it easier for her to fuck him, he also seems to like the game of it all....

not taking sides but vivian has a lot of baggage that need unraveling since she acts meek to christian in certain situation like in the office toilet and later in the carpark. vivian might not be an angel(even though she is one of the best models in vns i have seen till now) and we will know more about her past in 2nd or 3rd update i hope.

In a perfect world I'd be able to show the wear and tear on Vivian. Unfortunately there are logistical limitations to what I can render using off the shelf products. If I were more skilled, had a production team helping me, and/or more time to give, then maybe I could but I can't. Glad you're enjoy the story, though. The friendly debates here are entertaining. A couple of you have made some scary accurate predictions (of course, I'm not saying who). I'm doing all I can to get the next installment done while maintaining the same quality as the first.
