~ Also, I have a crazy theory/thought here, but what do y'all think about Maxwell/Addison?

View attachment 4538117

Speaking hypothetically, let's say Vivian ends up leaving Hutch to fuck around with Chris. Unbeknownst to Vivian, Hutch has been seeing Addison on the side as sort of a "comfort". I.e., side chick sorta thing.

But then, if/when Vivian decides to leave Hutch for good, Hutch tries to get with Addison to console him as they used to, but then Maxwell comes along and conveniently steals Addison away from Hutch. I.e., by way of sexual blackmail/manipulation as how Chris initially did the same with Vivian.

So now both Hutch's wife/side chick are taken away from him, and he's left with no one :HideThePain:

I know it's kind of an out-there theory/random thought, but was just spitballing some ideas in my head and this scenario popped out
:KEK: :devilish:
I can't see Hutch getting out of his depression and going after Addison any time soon tbh, unless we see a massive change in him.
Maxwell obviously wants Addison and wants Hutch gone so he can try and swoop in there. I wouldn't be surprised if he was the one who fucked Hutch over with those accounts to try and get rid of him.

I totally agree with you for the Hutch part : he needs a 180 turn to get over this. His family life might be a wake up call for him.

Isnt that hand on the back scene when the boss comes out and gives them a look after the bathroom scene? Maxwell knows what that means and leads everyone else out of the office so he can have a chat with Hutch, again with his manipulation tactics to convince Hutch that him banging his wife is a good thing.

All this talk about Hutch driving Vivian away with his emotionally fractured response to her cheating (stated as speculation in multiple instances in this thread now) is a load of BS to me. What kind of person is going to feel like being very sexual or affectionate after they've just been devastated due to witnessing their partner cheat like Vivian has, with her having engaged in several episodes of sex with another man across a span of two days? This is not a slipped up and slept with somebody once kind of situation. If the tables were turned to where the female partner instead saw the man doing this with another woman, I think she also would not feel like being very sexual or affectionate with him. IMO, Vivian would be acting like a real POS to emotionally damage her husband like she has and then use this as an excuse to justify escalating the sharing of sex/passion with another man/other men.

I think we will see this moving forward if Hutch does anything even remotely with Addison, she will take this as the ok to move things along and start fucking around. Maybe she goes into the office and Hutch finally accepts lunch with Addison, she will see this and use it as an excuse to bang the boss on his desk. Could be where the jealousy comes in, rather than the simple devastation Hutch has experienced up until now, he was not jealous, he has been broken.

I think much of it is people projecting what they would have done or hope they would do in a similar situation. The truth is that none of us really know how we will handle something, until it happens. Especially something that rocks you to your very core.
How many of us can admit to wanting to turn back time and handle something completely differently from our past?

Could be. I don't doubt that. As we know, Maxwell's got the hots for Addison, but the latter has the hots for Hutch. Guess she likes middle-aged married men? :KEK: :HideThePain:

So, Max probably views Hutch as a direct competitor and wants to find a way to get rid of him. E.g., corporate espionage style.

Delving deeper into the chapter names:

#A Husband's Sacrifice
#The Price of Love
#Shadows of Forgiveness
#Shadows of Silence

If we keep in mind the name My Husbands Boss leads us to believe the wife is the MC:

Shadows of could be similar to the meaning of In the shadow of "very close to; verging upon", or it could be misleading and have a meaning closer to deception, making the wife believe she is being forgiven but not actually true, this could mean Hutch does get revenge in some way. But what would that mean for the last chapter?

The next release title could mean that the wife is still under the impression that this is the best course of action to save her marriage, which is just plain fucking stupid. But nothing we have seen from her so far shows any form of rational thinking.

I think we will have more pain for Hutch in the next release, with a POSSIBLE redemption for him starting from the 3rd release onto the 4th.

I really don't think it matters if he sees them or not. He witnessed the actual fucking. So, he already knows. But, that scene was for her, to see the panties she absently left out, and to hide them. That's just to show that she doesn't want him to know about that sex she had.

He already knows, but she doesn't know he knows at that stage.
It's important from a psychological point of view. My wife, the bitch, doesn't even try to cover it up. She hasn't even made the effort. More humiliation for Hutch.

Yes, this should have its own fan art thread, so little fantasy can be told, while we wait for the next release.

there is no reason for explaining the reason of an antagonist in a ntr story he does what he wants to... not mcu. but jokes aside christians characters comes across as ahole who gets what he wants... and from the previews and story so far he pretty much does. some may view that conversation between christian and hutch as pep talk but other may see that as manipulating the results. and we know that at the end vivian was done with him and now he is rigging the results.
I agree. He is toying with them both the entire time and relishing it. As he admitted, he has done this with other couples before. He wasn't serious when he gave Hutch the task. He probably expected that Hutch would not be able to come up with the list he asked for given the pressure Hutch was under, but even if Hutch did come up with a list, it would not matter. Christian is the kind of sleazy scumbag who knows how to manipulate weak and/or stupid people. Also, whenever Christian is talking in a seemingly gentle or encouraging way to Hutch, he is actually mocking him and throwing everything in his face. Christian is obviously a very sadistic individual, and he loves playing games with people.

I played the game 1 more time and I realized she betrayed Hutch she told Christian he didn't write anything on the paper. The more I see the little things the more I don't like Vivian. She told about the blue pills she is just betraying the marriage how do you have remorse if you keep betraying your husband. Hutch should just leave don't tell anyone just leave. Give his son a note explaining I am not your daddy i took on the reasonability but I am not your father your mother got pregnant at a frat party your father is Christian.

I still don't think you've played the game. When does she fuck in front of her husband? Why not just play it, and see what it's like?
think he is getting confused like vivian from christians dialogues which keep repeating how he fucks the wives in front of their husbands.

True, but she knows why Hutch is declining her any emotion, and I think she feels she deserves it. But that last scene in the bedroom undoes Hutch's emotionless stance (that's why I think it fails in the scope of Hutch's character, but that's just me).
That last scene between Hutch and Vivian (although I know why it was done), still feels out of character and flat to me, no matter how many times I see it.
you mean the code talk scene... if its that scenes there are a lot of factors that affect this scene since the first time vivian is caught having sex with christian to the non stop confiding in christian about hutch and their personal life. she doesnt know y hutch is declining her touches or actions to be intimate until she actually sees hutch coming out of the toilet where she fucked and confessed her love when she fucking christian. but after this scene she feels she deserves it but sometimes flips flops between thinking its not her fault.

We've been discussing that for a long time, u and me, and u know i would like some kind of revenge for Hutch. But the fact he doesn't want ti touch her can easily be explained by the disgust he feels towards Vivian at this point.
or maybe a good man feeling betrayed by his loving wife of 22 years. who is in shock at the happening of that even after all the warning he gave her and all the bs vivian spouts about being a big girl and take care of herself. thats devestating to a loving kind protector/provider...losing the one thing he wants to protect ...his wife cheating on him willingly.

more like pooped out... jokes aside .. thats in the dark dark category like the scene someone posted of the devs previous work/render. finger crossed as far out theory as it may be hope its not happen to hutch who is already on thin ice emotionally.

nice theory..... but i would still go with the theory where its christians fault this happened and the clients he trying to gain back are the ones he scewed over and is using vivian to do it. and regarding the change in mind set of hutch the sneak peak shows vivian infront of a smoking man without any makeup... i think its hutch after a mindset change or a complete breakdown.

I'm referring to the scene after they "open" their relationship, up to and including where she asks for a promise it wont affect our relationship, and Hutch asks her to always come back to him at the end of the day.

Then they hug.

It's the only weak spot in an otherwise near perfect setup (for me). Had to suspend my disbelief more than normal for that.

My interpretation: (/s)

Wife: Promise me, now that I will become a complete cum dump for your boss and possibly other men, that I might even develop feeling for, that we will still be good and it wont affect our marriage, and you will always love me and feel the same way for me as you have for the last 22 years.
Hubbie: I will, as long as you promise to always come home to me every night after a hard day's fucking so I can see and smell the stank on you, while I'll probably stay celibate for the rest of my life.
Wife: I will. Now lets hug! Just ignore my previous lying and cheating and humiliating you and devastating you. Because I love you.
